Jewish Weak: A Picture is Worth A Thousand Words

GZM Jewish week

Jewish Week is at it again, following up on their September Geller hit piece in their jewicidal pandering to Islamic supremacism and Islamic antisemitism. Hamas group CAIR touted the Geller hit piece in their daily alert. Need I say more? Good work, slaves.

In today's piece on taxpayer funding of the Ground Zero mosque, the above picture tells the whole story. They had to watch community board #1 meeting to grab this deliberate screenshot while running a — is that a publicity shot for the LMDC board chair and GZM tool Julie Menin? (I don't even have a publicity shot.) Menin's husband is Bruce Menin, president and principal of Crescent Heights Investments, a national real estate development company. The real estate aspect is key here for LMDC chair Menin.

Grant Request Revives Mosque Controversy Adam Dickter, Jewish Week

Application for $5 million from federal fund decried as affront by critics, but board member says it will be decided strictly by grant criteria
Jewish groups mostly silent on issue.

News that the organization planning an Islamic cultural center near Ground Zero has applied for $5 million in federal recovery funds for programming has reawakened a controversy that largely fell silent months ago.

In an interview with Fox News on Tuesday, Rep. Pete King, a Long Island Republican, called the request for funds from the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation insensitive.

“It goes entirely against the spirit of the fund,” King said, according to the network’s website. “It’s an affront to the memory of all those who were murdered on 9/11. There are so many worthwhile projects in Lower Manhattan. This shows a gross insensitivity to the most fundamental feelings of New Yorkers and to those murdered on 9/11 it is a slap in the face that is a terrible insult.”

The Cordoba House-Park51 project, spearheaded by Imam Feisal Rauf and his wife, Daisy Khan, requested the funds last month, as first reported Monday by the website The Daily Beast. Imam Rauf has been involved in interfaith programs with Jewish organizations over many years but has been criticized for some of his public comments, such as declining in a radio interview to call Hamas a terrorist group.

[…]

New York’s Landmarks Preservation Commission declined in August to designate protected status to the 19th-century former Burlington Coat Factory building on Park Place, which was damaged by airplane debris during the attack on the Twin Towers. That cleared the last legal hurdle toward building the center, although the developer has yet to raise the more than $100 million needed to build the facility, which has been said to emulate a Jewish community center with ethnic-oriented programming and religious space but open to all area residents.

[…]

This week, three of the groups declined to comment on news of the grant request.

Rabbi Abraham Cooper of the Simon Wiesenthal Center reiterated that group’s earlier position but did not oppose the grant.

“We feel the people who need to be heard first and foremost are the families of victims,” he said. “If they feel it’s an appropriate place to be built, there is no reason they shouldn’t go for the funding.”

He added, “Obviously this has touched a nerve, and it’s too bad. For someone who is so experienced in interfaith dialogue, if [Imam Rauf] had done some outreach over the last few years maybe this could have been avoided.”

Said conservative blogger and staunch Park51 critic Pamela Geller: “It’s an outrage. I’m sure that we will be protesting en masse. The idea that we would be underwriting a 15-story mega-mosque at a building destroyed on 9/11 … reveals the radical Imam’s contempt for the American people and their pain.”

The application is for part of a $17 million pool to be dispensed by LMDC for cultural and community enhancement projects that revitalize the area affected by 9/11. It is the third and possibly final round of such grants.

Previous grants provided $34 million to various museums and other nonprofit cultural institutions in the area in 2004 and $45 million in community enhancements in 2006, including $4.5 million to area public schools and $5 million for hospitals, according to Julie Menin, a board member of the corporation and chair of Community Board 1.

In the present round of grants, 255 organizations have requested $170 million, far more than the available funds. A decision on the allocations is expected early next year.

“The funds will go to a number of nonprofit organizations that have meritorious proposals, with a minimum [grant] of $100,000 and a maximum of $1 million,” Menin told The Jewish Week Tuesday. “It’s going to be a very competitive process.”

As a member of the panel that will vote on the proposals, Menin declined to comment on any particular grant and the potential impact of the controversy surrounding the Park51 site on the application process.

“As always we will vet every application thoroughly,” she said. “Every application has to meet the baseline eligibility requirements.”

The vetting process, she said, includes site visits and assessments of financial track records or, in the case of new organizations, the group’s financial viability.

Will they vet Imam Rauf, the slumlord, whose slum buildings are in receivership despite receiving two million from city government for repairs, or El-Gamal's rap sheet and his recent eviction from his offices?

The Cordoba Initiative, in the early stage of fundraising, has less than $20,000 in the bank, according to the Daily Beast report.

Cordoba — iconic of Islamic conquest over the West.

A statement by the Park51 developer, Sharif el-Gamal, published in The New York Times Tuesday, said the grant money, if awarded, would fund domestic-violence prevention programs, language classes, exhibitions and other services at the center, which will employ 150 people.

Domestic violence prevention? Is he working on expunging Islamic teachings of the justification for honor killings?

Geller noted that Imam Rauf has refused to publicly engage in a debate about the center and his choice of location. “For him, interfaith dialogue goes one way,” she said.

Whatever one might say about Pam. This shows the lack of debate, cowardice and dhimmitude in this nasty arrogant, self absorbed, spoiled and ignorant bunch of snobs.
To oppose this Mosque, named Cordoba on the ruins of a building damaged on 911 and now potentially funded by the tax payer is somehow crazy and unacceptable.
The same people who cried a couple of months ago at the thought of a government at some level intervening in this controversy. STATE AND RELIGION !!!. Now they want the state to pay for the Mosque and condemn taxpayers (who in this fund hail from all of the USA) as bigots?
Excuse me?
Seriously. Muslims respect power, faith and pride. They must be drunk from their orange soda watching this rolling over the floor with laughter.
If these were the Jews who would represent Jewry to the rest of the world, as that is what NY Jews often assert, we would be cleaning Mosque yards by now in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. Luckily they do not. Though they are seemingly in tune with their Pharaoh Obama. To bend over and assume position as soon as some cue cards are shown.
I don’t ask for agreement or adherence but for at least some pretense of debate.
What is wrong with these people?
Do they go out?
There are between 5 and 6 million Muslims in the US (legally). Poll after poll showed that 15-30% of them exhibited some really nasty views. On Jews, Israel, America and terrorism.
There are over 200 Million Americans who for the most part admire Jews, learn about Jews, support Israel, some sending their sons to wars the Obama 08 bloggers asserted are fought for Israel and these caviar truffle airheads are pushing for this Mosque?!
Seriously. This is like the twilight zone.
These people are so isolated from reality that they should be on some experimental reality show.
Gotta hand it to Imam Rauf and Daisy. For they know how to work these slobbering basset hounds. They charmed them like 10 Madoffs on a Margatita day.
Now there is this militant army pushing for the Mosque. It is now pushing for the state to fund the mosque because that is what we need to “heal”. They need to go to the shrink because they are seemingly seeking some healing somewhere. Heal the void of ignorance and naivete in their souls.

Can you see the difference one generation makes.
Imagine during the 1950s if a Japanese company had wanted to set up a WWII souvenir shop about 50 ft. off the starboard side of the USS Arizona,(Pearl Harbor) and wanted Allied post war aid to pay for it’s construction. Think what an uproar that would’ve caused? 99.9% of Americans would be in an uproar.
And the harebrained idea would never make the light of day.
Now we’re to about 70% Our fathers & forefathers would have never stood for any of this.
Thank God for people like you Ms. Geller.
Still willing to stand up with a sense of outrage + possessing a backbone and a moral compass as well.
GodSpeed!

The comparative photo trick is disheartening in that is juvenile, but also because it denotes a SHAMELESS enemy.Whilst taking to these craven deceivers with cricket bats would be bad form,I can’t help but think it would be its own mirth.Dress as the Cookie Monster for your next engagement,Ms.Geller, and let them run a photo of that alongside Julie Menin.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING, PAM!! Besides my family and creative work and all the other good things in my life, I am grateful for Atlas and the entire Islamic conquest-fighting blog community for allowing me to see such courage in action, every day. We have already won this fight, for ourselves. The idiots who support the recrudescence of Islam and Sharia will see their terrible error taken out on their own lives and those of their children and grandchildren if they continue to take the coward’s way out.

I am sure Rauf and Gamal will get the money. Dhimmi Bloom-turd will probably present the $5 mil check wearing white gloves so as his kuffr-Jooo hands will not defile it before the jizya is offered up to their degenerate prophet and hellish god.
Thanks, Pamela for everything you do and for keeping the light shining on these demons. It’s only way to defeat them. And a very happy and safe Thanksgiving to you and yours.

“Domestic violence prevention? Is he working on expunging Islamic teachings of the justification for honor killings?”
Well, I didn’t see my post come up nor even listed as awaiting for comment so I’ll try again. I apologize if this turns into a double post.
Any way, in regards to the statement made by Mrs. Geller. True. He’d also have to refute or claim that a man does not have the right to beat his wife. Of course, he may just claim that the wife just needs to spread her legs where ever and when ever her husband so chooses. Problem solved. You see, in his eyes, it’s not the man’s fault, but the woman’s. Besides, from one of the imans teaching this, I hear she is supposed to feel honored by a good beating any way. The thing is, this also connect to killing converts. What is some one tries to convert another in this so fortress to Islam (it’s that term that starts with an “r” – people really need to read up on what those really are). Shoot, what about crucifixes or crosses? Any time I get the, “well you can come worship in our mosque,” shows a lack of understanding of an alter, consecration, or proper construction of a church (don’t get me started on new age churches). Now mind you I’m a bit opinionated, but some things just don’t track.

The opposition pulls this crap time and time again. The NY Times did the exact same thing in their piece on you, paying some intern to cull through hours of your taped appearances to catch a screen shot with the caption: ‘party girl’ for the ‘photo-montage’ that accompanied their article. What a cheap shot. It is a ‘wordless’ type of ad hominem attack, meant to convey the impression that this is some harpie. To hell with them. Anyone with half an engaged brain can see through this type of garbage. It’s a disgrace: shame on them.
With every appearance in these dens of lions and thieves (like the recent Fox appearance) your professional comportment shines in stark contrast to the uncontrolled, incoherent rantings of those who would rather that you simply go away. These people don’t matter, they don’t count.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family, thanks for your continued journalism and professionalism.

If I didn’t know either of those pictured women, I would like the one who is animated and not the one with the elitist glare, I hate her instantly because she’s just like Obama; they both possess mediocre intellect with unbounded arrogance.

“Crescent” interesting, subliminal message for his Arab investors.
Looks like the Menin’s are in bed with them, and Bloomberg, send him packing.
He’s a disgrace to the City of New York. Where’s Guliani we we need him.
We wouldn’t be having this discussion if he was still Mayor. Bloomberg has milk for guts.
I suggest the Jewish community of New York stop being so passive on this issue,
and start being more vocal and passionate. Thank God you have Pam Geller fighting for you,
she is one firecracker.

It’s not that Bloomberg has “milk for guts,” it’s that BLOOMBERG COMMUNICATIONS LLC has already announced plans to expand into the Middle East, and Mayor Bloomberg knows that helping to deliver the “Cordoba Ground-Zero Victory Mosque” will open a lot of profitable doors for him and his company. Mayor Bloomberg, like Ex-Sen Arlen Specter(D), was at one time a “Repub”. at another a “Dem”, now an “Independant.” What these folks are primsrily are opportunists, looking out for their own benefit. These are not Statesmen, they are not Leaders, they are certainly not Patriots. What they ARE is the sort of self-interested con-men who bubble to prominence during any time of upheaval. You’ve seen them in a hundred movies: they are the slimy Frenchmen selling out members of the WWII Resistance, they are the Filipino turncoats helping the Japanese invaders to control the occupied Filipino People, in Cowboy movies they are the Renegades offering Whiskey and guns to the Indians, and in Nazi Germany they are the Jews helping the Gestapo track down other, hidden Jews. (It is said that George Soros played this same role in real life.) Here, it appears they are playing the same part yet again – selling out the Jews of the world (and the rest of us besides) for their own personal profit, and laughing at our concerns the entire time. Do they not UNDERSTAND they are selling us out? Would they CARE if they saw things as we do? Or do they simply see themselves as being above such issues as as Loyalty, Religion, Patriotism? After all, if you don’t feel any connection to Judaism, Western Ideals, Freedom, or the USA, then you’re not going to feel you have any stake in who wins the battle of Ideology, and you can make money off each side.
It is only a small consolation that the New Yorkers they live among (who keep re-electing such a man), and perhaps even those mentioned in the article, will likely be among the first to “benefit” from having such a shrine to Jihadism set in their midst, with all the attendant Jihadi-tourists it will attract, and their likely desires to make their own contibution to the struggle against the West.

Amen Dude – When the color of money has the blood of the 9-11 victims on it,
it is time for them all to do some soul searching, because they have sold their souls to Islam.
Treason. It’s disgraceful.
