In Wilders Trial, Free Speech Is Also On Trial Pamela Geller, Big Journalism
In what can only to be described as a throwback to the seventh century, Dutch Parliamentarian and anti-jihad warrior Geert Wilders was back in court Monday on specious “hate speech” charges filed by a corrupt, criminal dhimmi court in the Netherlands.

ULTRA HYPOCRISY IN THE LEGAL SYSTEM OF THE NETHERLANDS
While Muslims are out literally spewing their hate on the streets of EU Countries like Anjem Chaudary in the UK.
People like Geert Wilders who is brave enough to warn his fellow countrymen of the slowly encroaching threat that is political Islam and sharia law are prosecuted for warning them.
No doubt the great statesman Sir Winston Churchill would be standing in the same defendants docket that Geert Wilders is had he been a Dutch Citizen in these times. Many of the British people vilified Sir Winston in the 1930s’ when he warned of the rise of the 3rd Reich in Germany. Yes I suppose he could have been referred to as someone who practiced Nazi-phobia in those days.
Never mind of course that he also understood the archaic religion of Islam as well from his book ” The River Wars” Published in 1899.

It strikes me that Geert Wilders asserting his right to remain silent throughout his trial is very much like the strategy used by Hank Reardon as he was on trial. I hope Wilders’ outcome is as good as Reardon’s. It was a brilliant strategy in Atlas Shrugged; both men play against a stacked deck – only Wilders’ jeopardy is very real.

Ms. Geller.
Did you know that several dozen people of the Muslim religion died on September eleventh in those attacks? The ages were ranging from 60 years to a newborn baby. Also, there’s a new organization starting up. In addition to September Eleventh Families for Peaceful Tomorrows, the families and friends of the victims are starting a new organization called “Neighbors for American Values.” These are supporters of the mosque, Pamela. People who have been through the pain caused by the Islamic RADICALS, not moderates. We’re all Americans, Pamela.
Plus, do I need to add that the First Amendment clearly states that American citizens and people of this great country have a right, a natural born right, to practice their religion. Do you know what that means? It means that a group of people could want to build a church worshiping cauliflower and we’d have to let them.
Islam is a beautiful religion. So is Christianity, Buddhism, the Jewish faith, and every other religion.
Quit word-vomiting out hatred. Respond to me. Or I will leave a comment for every single day until this thing is AND IT WILL BE built.

Where have you been? The discussion on why the majority of Americans,including New Yorkers oppose the Ground zero mosque has been addressed numerous times over the past several months.
No one has ever denied the Mosques developers the right under the US Constitution to build the Mosque at that site. The issue has always been about the sensitivity of building at that site because it was the Islamic ideology of Jihad that lead to the attack that murdered nearly 3000 people on 9-11.
The real fact is that there is no radical Islam but there is just Islam. When you sit down to read the 164 jihadist versus in the Qu’ran you will understand what drives the Islamists throughout the world. The world has experienced over 16,000 Islamic terrorist attacks since 9-11 in places such as the Philippines,America,Britain,Yemen, Saudia Arabia,India,Spain,and a hundred of other countries.
Take the time to see what is happening in Europe, read the book Eurabia,study the ever encroaching sharia law that reflects Islam, recognize that Islam is 85 Percent Political,see what has happened to Lebanon,understand why the tiny country of Israel is constantly under attack no matter how many concessions they make, read the 36 articles of the Hamas Charter, read the other books in the Islamic trilogy, the hadiths and the sirah. Understand why countries like France who now has the largest population of Muslims in Europe is waking up almost to late, and learn from ex Muslims (apostates like Ayaan Hirsi Ali,Wafi Sultan, or Ibn WSarraq who have live Islam in the Middle East I could go on and on but please take a serious objective look–I’ve been doing it for nearly 9 years.

We are well aware that some Muslims were killed in the 9/11 Islamic Terrorists Attacks. 26 of them by my count including the 19 hijackers.
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
Yep, we are well aware what the First Amendment says. No one is prohibiting anyone from practicing their religion. Most of us on this site who are regular readers however are concerned about a few things regarding the Ground Zero Mosque.
First issue is the lack of sensitivity with regards to the people who were killed on 9/11. To build a Victory Mosque near the place where they were killed is simply a mockery of their deaths. Second issue is the fact that Imam Rauf and his buddies all have ties to Islamic Terrorist organizations like the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas. Third issue is that Imam Rauf has stated his desire to see America become “Sharia compliant”. The US cannot become Sharia compliant without destroying the US Constitution. Is this something you wish to do? I certainly don’t. Sharia Law is the law of the land in Iran, Saudi Arabia and many other countries. There they stone people for adultery, hang political opposition members (Iran recently did this), and all sorts of other nasty stuff like amputations, beheadings etc. I will be defiant against Sharia Law for as long as I live and breath.
If you haven’t noticed, there is an undercurrent of Islamic Supremacists moving into America. If you know some peaceful Muslims, sit down and ask them some questions about their faith and that they see. If they are true “Moderate” muslims who do not wish for Sharia Law to come here, they will tell you that it is happening. They are in fear for their life and most won’t speak out.
Islam may be a beautiful religion to you. It may be peaceful as long as Sharia Law is not the law of this land. Muslim will be free to practice their religion as they see fit for as long as the US Constitution guarantees these freedoms. When or If Sharia Law comes to the US, You will no longer view Islam as peaceful.

Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, freespeech! but what none of you are aware of is that EVERYBODY should have “free speech”. It should be a mandatory human right! But thanks to iniquitous people like Ayn Rand, and her followers, this right is denied to many humans from birth! Ayn Rand and her followers love abortion/murder more than anything else they love. Obama and Ayn Rand are the most Pro-abortion/murder lovers that ever existed! Go along with either of these two and you have grabbed a tar-baby you will never get rid of – abortion will not be legal or popular much longer – beware!

On the other topic: Geert Wilders is one of the world’s greatest apologists for free speech in the world today. We should all support him and his efforts regarding his ability to expose the dark side of Islam and it’s effect on Western society in whatever way we can. Truth is always the best defense, and I hope the Dutch courts will adhere to their longstanding tradition of freedom and tolerance.

When in fact, Liberty, it is you who have shown your ignorance. I have read the Qur’ran (Koran) cover to cover- the English Dover translation that is. It is a beautiful book. I stand by what I said. And I highly doubt that you have done very much research into this topic because if you had, you wouldn’t be reading Pamela Geller’s garbag and gobbling it up.

And, anyhow you’re all missing the point. IMAM FEISAL ABDUL RAUF AND HIS WIFE DAISY KHAN ARE NOT JIHAD. I appreciate your references, but they have not too much consequence when it comes to the peaceful Muslims who want this and the fact that the jihad/radical organization is the problem here. Not the peaceful bridge builders this pertains to.

You missed the boat too. The Cordoba House is not Sharia- affiliated. The funds are all UN backed. Radical Islam will not see this as an encourager, in fact, they will see this as a detriment because it shows the United States and the moderate Muslims (whom they have always overpowered) working together to stop the hatred.

mr. Wilders shows his profound disrespect for the judicial system in the Netherlands. His way of communication consists of insinuating, calling names, using false accusations and trying to humillate all those who don’t share his views and opinions. His bad manners influence the Dutch society in a way that nowadays arguments and facts no longer count, just verbal aggresion seems to pay off.

This link above is a transcript of a conversation with Imam Rauf at CFR. Scroll all the way to the bottom where he talks about Sharia being 90% compatible with US Constitution. He said this, not me. Whether he was acting as representative of Cordoba House is besides the point. He mentioned that Sharia Law is 90% compatible. If you have even a cursory knowledge of Sharia Law as praticed in Iran, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and many other places, you would know this to be a false statement. It *sounds* good, it *sounds* reasonable, but if you dig deeper you find its a statement designed to mislead you.
I think it is you who is missing the boat.
