The Cathedral of Notre Dame is the Mosque of Notre Dame: Kosovo.

Notre Dame

Back in 2005, I blogged on the Russian runaway best seller, The Mosque of Notre Dame De Paris, thanks to Jack Wheeler. Elena Chudinova, one of Russia’s most popular writers, has finally had one chapter of the book translated into English. And as Julia Gorin points out (further down, scroll)……. Europe was lost at Kosovo.

This was Wheeler's take back in 2005:

Story continues below advertisement

The great cathedral of Notre Dame in Paris has been called "the noblest architectural conception of man." Its construction was begun in 1163 by Maurice de Sully (c.1110-1196), the Bishop of Paris, and completed 87 years later in 1250.

The small island in the River Seine has been a sacred site for millennia. It was a sacred grove for the Celts who held their most holy rituals there, then for the Romans who built a Temple of Jupiter. Upon the ruins of this temple, Childebert (496-558), son of Clovis who founded the French Merovingian dynasty, built a basilica to St. Etienne in 528. Since that time, the site has been sacred to Christians.
[…]

Chudinova takes the ongoing transformation of Europe into Eurabia – the Moslemification of Europe – seriously. The setting of her novel is Paris of the year 2040. The Moslem immigrant children who comprised 40-50% of the population under 20 in many French cities in 2005 have grown up, have voted themselves into power, established Islam as the state religion in France, imposed strict Sharia Islamic law upon all French people, and converted the cathedral of Notre Dame into a mosque.

The only Christians who are left are forced to live in ghettos like Jews in pre-World War II Warsaw. The novel focuses upon an initially small Christian resistance movement that refuses to live according to Sharia laws and decides to fight back – violently.

Political correctness infects Russia just as much as the US, thus Chudinova’s book has been hysterically denounced by mainstream leaders of the Russian Orthodox Church. Archpriest Georgiy Mitrofanov of the prestigious St. Petersburg Theological Seminary is a typical example, who frets that the book promotes "un-Christian phobias." Mitrofanov explicitly views "anti-Islamism" as an evil on a par with anti-Semitism.

In an interview in Pravda on October 3 [2205], Chudinova struck back, stating that Islam is a "false religion" and that the future of Russia, France, and all of Europe "consists in a choice between the cross and the crescent," between Christianity and Islam.
[…]

And in this month’s issue of the Moscow journal Politcheskiy [in 2005] , Chudinova continues her attack. "I do not want to live in a Moscow Caliphate," which is coming, she says, unless Russian Christians start fighting back against Islam. "I would rather live in a Russia controlled by the Americans and garrisoned by American soldiers than in a Moscow where Russia’s own Moslems have established a caliphate."

Her novel and her unapologetic defense of it are making her a hero in the eye of millions of Russians. Her critics agonize that her book will create millions of "Islamophobes" in Russia, and once it is translated into other languages, throughout Europe. Let’s hope so.

Because it is only through such Islamophobia that Western Civilization and Christianity in Russia and Europe have any chance to survive. That’s how bad it is getting – and Chudinova’s purpose in writing is to prevent it from getting a lot, lot worse.

And my dear colleague and  the best investigative journalist who is most informed on Kosovo/Serbia/Bosnia, Julia Gorin, is  all over it.

From New York to Paris to Mosqow, a Russian Author’s Dystopia is Here

Friday in Paris. A hidden camera shows streets blocked by huge crowds of Muslim worshippers and enforced by a private security force.

This is all illegal in France: the public worship, the blocked streets, and the private security. But the police have been ordered not to intervene.

It shows that even though some in the French government want to get tough with Muslims and ban the burqa, other parts of the French government continue to give Islam a privileged status.

An ordinary French citizen who has been watching the Islamization of Paris decided that the world needed to see what was happening to his city. He used a hidden camera to start posting videos on YouTube. His life has been threatened and so he uses the alias of “Maxime Lepante. ”

His camera shows that Muslims “are blocking the streets with barriers. They are praying on the ground. And the inhabitants of this district cannot leave their homes, nor go into their homes during those prayers.”

“The Muslims taking over those streets do not have any authorization. They do not go to the police headquarters, so it’s completely illegal,” he says.

The Muslims in the street have been granted unofficial rights that no Christian group is likely to get under France’s Laicite’, or secularism law.

“It says people have the right to share any belief they want, any religion,” Lepante explained. “But they have to practice at home or in the mosque, synagogues, churches and so on.”

Some say Muslims must pray in the street because they need a larger mosque. But Lepante has observed cars coming from other parts of Paris, and he believes it is a weekly display of growing Muslim power.

“They are coming there to show that they can take over some French streets to show that they can conquer a part of the French territory,” he said.

If France faces an Islamic future, a Russian author has already written about it. The novel is called “The Mosque of Notre Dame, 2048,” a bestseller in Russia, not in France.

French publisher Jean Robin said the French media ignored the book because it was politically incorrect.

“Islam is seen as the religion of the poor people, so you can’t say to the poor people, ‘You’re wrong,’ otherwise, you’re a fascist,” Robin explained.

The book lays out a dark future when France has become a Muslim nation, and the famous cathedral has been turned into a mosque.

From the 1980s until recently, criticizing or opposing Islam was considered a social taboo, and so the government and media effectively helped Islam spread throughout France.

“We were expecting Islam to adapt to France and it is France adapting to Islam,” Robin said.

Jean-Francois Cope, president of the Union for a Popular Movement political party, has a warning for the West and for America.

“We cannot accept the development of such practice because it’s not compatible with the life in a modern society, you see,” he said. “And this question is not only a French question. You will all have to face this challenge. “

What the broadcast did not mention about the book The Mosque of Notre Dame, 2048 is the historical event which the author recognized as pivotal for Western civilization and for creating a future in which the Cathedral of Notre Dame is the Mosque of Notre Dame: Kosovo.

It’s certainly understandable that a Russian would ‘get’ what Kosovo was all about. All the more so since Moscow today is 15% Muslim and this was the scene in the capital city earlier this month during the Uraza-Bairam holiday.

Now, it’s my understanding that so far there are only Serbian and French translations of the Russian book, but below is an excerpt which has been translated into English:

Excerpt from “Notre Dame Mosque in Paris: 2048″ by Yelena Chudinova (2005), translated from Russian to Serbian by Ljubinka Milicevic (2006), translated from Serbian to English by Marie-Louis Marti

Chapter 3 – Slobodan [”Sloboda” is Serbian for “freedom.”]

… It was cold standing on the balcony of the twentieth floor but he didn’t feel like going in to the warm, brightly lit rooms. Paris lay below him, silently sleeping, like always except during Ramadan when the fires in the streets flashed and fluctuated: believers admiring the view of the Seine with Al Fraconi Mosque, which was once Notre Dame, sat until dawn in the luxurious Monde Arabe restaurant, in Maxim’s or Procope….Luckily, Ramadan was over. Paris nights were unpopulated.

How pleasant the silence was and what a good thing he had chosen an apartment on a high floor, far above the ones where you couldn’t have a window looking out on the street.

He wasn’t sleepy; the few remaining hours were too precious. Soon the loudspeakers would be filled with the voices of muezzins, and the devil would set out on patrol through Paris to piss in the ears of believers insufficiently devout to get up for early morning prayers.

It’s what you deserve, Frenchmen; good God, didn’t you see it coming? Weren’t you the ones who shaped today with your very own hands? Now you live in what you have created because there is a God.

You didn’t know anything about the history of Serbia; you didn’t know anything about Kosovo. You didn’t know how the Serbs died gloriously on the battlefield of Kosovo Polje when the soldiers of Prince Lazarus, defending their cradle, stood on the path of the foul army of Sultan Murad. You didn’t know that Bayazit arrived like a mortal plague, and that the Muslim Albanians followed in his tracks.

Five hundred years under the Ottoman Empire! You didn’t know what a scourge the Ottoman Empire was; you didn’t know how much Serb blood was shed to vanquish it. And very few years after the Serbs returned to the banks of the Sitnica River, they were again expelled! Adolf Hitler was the new Bayazit; did you humane Europeans forget about him? Who among those of you that applauded the bombing of Belgrade [in 1999] so much as heard in school that it was none other than Hitler who toppled Serb Peter II and pushed Kosovo into the hands of Albanian Zog I as a gift? And the Albanians descended into Serbian lands like new Bayazits, like hyenas trailing the scent of blood, once again occupying the abandoned homes, once again reaping the crops sown in Serbian fields. And how many armies did Hitler and Mussolini have to keep there in order to make Kosovo Albanian? You Europeans, who make such a big deal of the fact that you founded the Second Front after it was long overdue, did you even bother to thank the Serbs because Draza Mihailovic’s Chetniks began their attack on Hitler’s supporters long before you? [Chetniks were the monarchist anti-Nazi and anti-Communist guerrillas.]

What inspired you to help the Albanians establish borders that had been drawn by Hitler; what convinced you to believe so easily the stupidest of lies about Serb bestialities?

Yes, obviously, the question is not “what” but “who”. You were poisoned; you were led around on a leash by the Muslim diaspora – and while you, mere toys in the hands of puppeteers, called yourself fighters for something called “human rights” and enlightened humanists – you were nothing more than traitors of Christian civilization.

Although you could still read Dostoevsky then; you could have remembered his verses. But today you’ve never heard of Dostoevsky. And it serves you right.

Milosevic was a mangy old wolf but you prodded him with red flags, forcing him to retreat over and over again. His soul bears the responsibility for the shameful peace of Dayton but even that was not enough for you. When he finally understood that there was no more room to retreat, war broke out.

Oh, how carefully your “peacekeepers” watched to make sure that no Serb dared raise his head! They saw to that but what they didn’t see in 1997 was what was happening under their very noses. And when the KLA snake hatched in their shadow and began to ethnically cleanse Kosovo, not fictionally this time but for real, you were blind, more than blind. Your television channels ran footage of Kosovo Albanians covering the coffins of their fallen comrades with a red flag with a black eagle, the thunder of the honorary gun salutes, the wild peonies swaying over freshly dug graves. While away from the cameras your “heroes” slaughtered Christian families, murdered teachers and priests. And when Milosevic tried to stop it, the bombs flew at Serbia.

Churches that existed for almost a thousand years were transformed into ruins under your bombs. Of course, they were not your holy shrines. But what makes you different then from the Afghan Talibans that blow up statues?

Milosevic betrayed the Serbs more than once and ultimately, the Serbs betrayed Milosevic. The twentieth century was a brutal one. To our parents who confronted the entire West, Milosevic looked like a paw one could afford to gnaw off in order to escape from bondage. Funny.

But your precious, super-civilized Albanians needed Kosovo for their drug trafficking. The amount of money involved was too big; the Serbs didn’t stand a chance.

And so peace came at last to the hub of European drug trafficking – Kosovo – when the last Serb was expelled or slaughtered, when the last Orthodox church was destroyed or desecrated. And then the peacekeepers left the region because they were no longer needed there.

But the poison was still brewing in the kettle, the filthy foam rose to the surface until it finally boiled over and contaminated the entire region. Bujanovac, Presevo and Medvedja followed the fate of Kosovo. [Bujanovac, Presevo and Medvedja are areas in southern Serbia that the Albanians have been eyeing and staging attacks in for some time, and for which a KLA extension exists, UCPMB.]

The Serbs were held back, always held in check. When Belgrade became the capital of Greater Albania, the European Union began to be afraid. And then it continued to grant out of fear what it had earlier given out of stupidity.

So now it is only just that Parisian women dress in [hijabs] – after their grandmothers swooned over roses on the graves of Kosovo Albanians on TV.

Slobodan Vukovic was fifty years old but he remembered the events of his childhood with unbelievable precision.

It was their last Christmas in the house of his birth in Pristina. Later, they celebrated Easter in the same house but it was a war-time Easter, it was without joy. War. If one could even call bombs falling out of the sky and the presence of an unpunishable, invisible, inaccessible enemy a war.

There were other enemies, too, besides those who were sure that the day would come when there would be no more ethnic conflicts in Kosovo – after the last Serb left feet first.

He didn’t know, couldn’t remember, where and when his child’s eyes had seen the scene he remembered in the minutest detail: the nuns dressed in robes red with their own blood, their throats all slit, lying on the white ground among bits of shattered icons and the smashed doors of a church. Was the exact time and place really so important? There were so many such martyrs and such churches!

Go, read it all.

Pamela, You quote Julia Gorin as saying, “Her [Elena Chudinova’s] novel and her unapologetic defense of it are making her a hero in the eye of millions of Russians.”
And this very conservative blog poster living in the blue state of Massachusetts gladly agrees with the opinion of those millions of Russians.

I beg your pardon! It is a total cover-up! The bitch reporter said the research the BBC has done on imam rauf does not show up any links to terrorism!
You should block them from using your voice in the opening sequence of the programme as I don’t believe it is a BBC recording!
Don’t let the scum get away with it!!

It would be an ideal world where the West and Russia would unite against Jihad.
Unfortunately, the Russians are still upset about Afghanistan and are still desiring to destroy America more than facing a common enemy.
They, like many Americans who downplay the scale and danger of this enemy, believe they can manage their local revolts and still support states like Iran and Syria.
The Soviets were instrumental in establishing the PLO and were indeed the midwife for modern Arab terrorism.
Perhaps it will take another 911, (on Russian soil G^d forbid) to have them realize what we are facing.

“Her novel and her unapologetic defense of it are making her a hero in the eye of millions of Russians. Her critics agonize that her book will create millions of “Islamophobes” in Russia, and once it is translated into other languages, throughout Europe. Let’s hope so.”-Pamela
The Islamophobia crap is not working anymore. Many non-Muslim folks are aware of the “abrogation” of the “peaceful” suras in the Qu’ran. Soon (I’m not kidding- and watch what I’m saying come true) non Muslims will openly laugh when Muslims say “Islam is a religion of peace” or “Islam forbids killing the innocent” (non-Muslims are not innocent as per Islam).
Islam is Allah in Wonderland to anyone who applies critical analysis to its dogmas. It’s pathetic-not worth hating. Muslims have been sodomized by this “religion.” It (especially the permissions to deception by Allah in Wonderland) literally destroying their capacity to think logically (the “divine sanctioned” lies and deceptions ruin the mind).
How can anyone love that which cannot be trusted? Trust is the basis of love. It’s common sense.
Muslims are victims. The costume wearers and the hat wearers (Fibrihim Hooper e.g.) don’t have any idea where most Americans are now re Islam-and it’s not about a feeling of hate toward Islam or Muslims.

Russians defended themselves during Operation Barbarossa (1941) with a loss of over 20 million lives of Russians.
Russians united with Americans and British Imperialists to defeat Nazi Germany.
But, after defeating Nazi Germany, American and British governments united with their shared goal of Islamization of most parts of Asia and Africa to create a counter-weight to young Soviet Union!
So, it is not the Russians who show their love for Islam. It is the American and British governments that have “tolerance” and love for Islam.
American government militarily aided Iran (Persia) by installing an Islamic monarch in 1953.
Although it seems to some that Russians are the “culprits” for building nuclear reactors in Iran (Persia), in fact, American government did the same for Iran when Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi was in power.
To date, it is the American government that supports and aids Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Egypt; NOT the Russian government.
As for “fighting” Islam in America, American government can stop any further Muslim immigration to this country, which American government will NOT do.
As for “fighting” Islam in America, American government can stop sending tax-payers’ dollars to Islamic countries around the world, which American government will NOT do.
As for “fighting” Islam in America, American government can stop celebrating Islam at the White House, which American government will NOT do.
As for “fighting” Islam in America, American government can stop wasting American tax-payers’ dollars in never-ending “Middle East Peace Process”, which American government will NOT do.
The list can go on and on. But, the bottom-line is Islam flourishes in America and Great Britain because, governments allow Islam to grow bigger and bigger in every new decade.
Establishment media (also known as the Main-Stream Media) simply follow suit with the governmental decisions regarding Islamization. That’s all.
Pamela Geller and many others call the Establishment media “Leftists”, “Marxists” (Karl Marx probably rolls out in his grave when he hears such a comment!), BUT NOT ISLAMIC, when the establishment media simply follow their governments.

It’s rather ironic how the dems have cried foul at the big corporate money – supposedly driving the reps all these years. Not totally true, but like that was somehow evil. Now they are the biggest whores of all – the money of the oppressive machine (Islam) is driving them. Guess that’s o.k.?? They have lost their heads – maybe quite literally.

I also want to read the full book. There is also a fin who has wrote a similar dystopian novel about the future Eurabia but unfortunately I don’t remember his name or the title of the book. I haven’t read that either, just excerpts like with this one. If I can recall it I will post about it.

I googled around a bit and found out this much as the authors name is Staffan Bruun and the title should be The Ayatollah translated to english. I was wrong about it taking place in the future as it is taking place in the year 2004 but if I remember it correctly, his novel was actually written in the mid-90’s so in a sense it could actually be viewed as a futuristic dystopia because of that. I don’t remember either if all of Europe was islamic, perhaps only parts of it although his own country Finland was obviously transformed to a caliphate in his novel. Unfortunately this book doesn’t seem to have been translated to english either.

When someone talks about Democrats, please look at politicians like Andrew “Evil Eyes” Cuomo of New York, who had his fortune tied to the United Arab Emirates.
When one talks about Democrats, please study the presidential candidate Senator Baraq Hasnat who raised over $600 million from Corporate America!
When someone talks about Democrats, please look at politicians like Lyndon B. Johnson who lied incessantly and bombed day and night North VietNAM into rubbles and, yet, the Vietnamese NEVER flew aeroplanes into American buildings in New York.
When someone talks about Democrats, please look at politicians like Bill Clinton who brought Islam into the Balkans, so that Islam is firmly established in Europe.

I never believed we had any business in Kosovo with the UN or the US participating. It was not our fight. I think some believed we owed it to Muslims or thought that by doing them a “favor” they would reciprocate in other areas. Well the thing of it is, Muslims just do not believe in Human Rights so the reasons that were laid out for bombing Kosovo were not justifiable in their eyes. So basically we killed thousands of Serbians all for point scores with people who don’t even recognize those actions. Better yet, in spite of our “help”, they continue with their desire to destroy america from within.

Agree, but it’s even deeper than that now. Unions, dem./comm. tied liberation theology churches, non-profits, etc.. Even the hippies and general activists in our universities and on the “street” have a price. It’s at the street level. They are funding our demise right before our eyes. We have quite a mess to clean up. We have to be ready to confront it with cool heads, but with the realization that this may not be a long, ugly battle. We are far closer to the conflict we are seeing in Europe than we realize. Once we start really exposing this stuff and cutting off the money / power – then the “fun” will begin.

Pam,
Thank you. There is so much, so many don’t know. I have to tell you, that a picture is worth a thousand words, and the pictures you have of the Ground Zero Mosque speak volumes. Please show it as much as you can. I am going to pass it around also. Has anyone asked Judas Bloomberg, and the other degenerate Bill Clinton what they think of how it looks? They would probably recite the “kook, extremist, conspiracy theorist,” lingo, right. It would be there staring them in the face, and they still would not see.
“There are none so blind, as those who will not see.” ~Edmund Burke
We are fighting the NAZI’s all over again. I guess it never really stopped though. Please let us know when this comes out in English. I want to get it, for my family. We all need to educate our kids. The Department of Education needs to be shut down. They are giving the teachers union money to teach propaganda, not the truth. This is why we homeschool. Remove your kids from the public schools until they are cleaned out if you can. This sounds like a wonderful book.

In the 19th century, when they were trying to steal Hungary where they had settled as refugees, the Serbs invented the myth that they had been “invited” to settle there by Emperor Leopold at the end of the 17th century, and that 500,000 Serbs had then left Kosova for a better treatment.
The reality was that only 40,000 Serb refugees had settled in southern Hungary at the end of the 17th century, and from the whole of Serbia, as the Ottomans took back Serbia from the Austrian armies — and there had certainly not been 500,000 Serbs in Kosova at the time.
In the 20th century, as they tried to steal Kosova from its Albanian inhabitants –who had been there for millenia before the Serbs invaded the region in the 13th century, the Serbs came up with another Big Lie, the lie that the Albanians, who were then a majority of two thirds in Kosova, were “recent immigrants”.
This Big Lie, and the fact that most of the Kosovars are nominally Muslim, is now being used on ignorant Westerners to make them believe that the decolonization of Kosova, and its liberation from genocidal Serbian rule, is identical to the invasion of the West by foreign Muslims.
The truth is exactly the opposite : in Kosova the Serbs are the invaders, like the Muslims in the rest of Europe, and the so-called “Palestinians” in Israel.
Throw the Muslims invaders out of Western Europe
Throw the Arab invaders out of Israel
Throw the Serb invaders out of Kosova.

The Serbs succeeded in stealing Southern Hungary from Austria-Hungary.
In 1918.
It is now called Voivodina, and is part of Serbia.
In spite of the fact that the Serbs were only the biggest minority there until 1991.
Ethnic cleansing then made them an absolute majority.
But they are not satisfied with that land grab, and have not given up trying to steal half of Bosnia-Herzegovina –where they murdered 65,000 from 1992 to 1995 and expelled hundreds of thousands– and northern Kosova.
That’s what happens when you didn’t have a territory of your own for 340 years: you can’t recognize which is yours, and which isn’t. Even if your neighbors do know what land is theirs.
That’s why a little help was in order, in the form of NATO bombs.
Clinton was right to bomb Serbia. He only did it eight years too late.
