Telly, it isn’t about inner spirituality as most religions understand it. Muslim immigrants coming into any non-Muslim country fully intend to be “in your face” about their religious practice, which is closely tied to political islam. That’s why there are so many lawsuits about the hijab, demands for employers to change their dinner break time during Ramadan,demanding that non-muslims don’t eat in front of them when they are fasting, giving them time off for Friday prayers, Muslim cab drivers refusing to take blind people with seeing eye dogs, or people carrying alcohol they have purchased,the proliferation of halal-slaughtered meat in Europe (especially in the UK) and now we see their butts in the air blocking the streets of NYC.
Catholics, on the other hand, working on days that are special feast days and require Mass attendance, can go the evening before or during lunch time on that day. The Church accomodates people knowing that they work, have families, etc. You would be a very poor example of Christianity to make a public spectacle of yourself because you’re fasting, or have to go to church.
But islam is very different than any other religion we’ve ever known. They continue to push for accomodation until islamic practices become common, don’t raise eyebrows any more, and pave the way for future restrictions on things that offend islam (which is most anything) until more and more of our freedoms are gone.

Any attempt to subvert the Constitution with sharia law is their goal–don’t for one second discount that. If you don’t see that as forced, you’re obviously very naive. Islam is betting on that.
Look at Europe–and specifically France and their 750+ ‘no-go’ zones, which is fact–I challenge you to Google it. The French government, and others in Europe are SCARED and INTIMIDATED by Islam and REFUSE to challenge them when they DEMAND religious and social exceptions to the detriment of the infidel masses.
Again, there ARE millions of Americans that will NEVER let sharia law encroach on the Constitution–regardless ANY action by the PC crowd and a cowardly government.
