I’ll be uploading full coverage — stay tuned for updates.

The Dutch Parliamentarian and freedom fighter Geert Wilders gave a magnificent speech. (Photo el marco)

Coverage of our rally is coming. The media is ignoring this historic event. Hundreds of newspeople there, no coverage. But here is the text of Geert Wilders' speech that he made before forty thousand in New York today. He addressed the cheering crowds:

Dear friends,

May I ask you to be silent for ten seconds? Just be silent and listen. Ten seconds. And listen…

What we hear are the sounds of life in the greatest city on earth. No place in the world, no place in human history, is as richly varied and vibrant and dynamic as New York City.

You hear the cars, you hear the people, you hear them rushing to their various destinations, you hear the sounds of business and of pleasure, you hear the cheers, you hear the cries, the buzzing sounds of human activity. And that is how it should be. Always.

Now close your eyes – I know it’s a beautiful day, but close your eyes. I have been told that this day nine years ago was just such a beautiful day — and remember, or try to remember, or try to imagine the sounds which were heard here on this spot under this same blue sky exactly nine years ago.

The sound of shock, the sound of destruction, the sound of panic, the sound of pain, the sound of terror.

Did New York deserve this? Did America deserve this? Did the West deserve this?

What, my friends, would you say to people who argue that New York, that America, that the West had itself to blame for those horrible sounds? There are people in this city who argue this. And they are angry because we are gathered here today to commemorate, to make a stand, to draw the line.

My friends, I have come from the other side of the Atlantic to share your grief for those who died here nine years ago.

I have not forgotten how I felt that day.

The scenes are imprinted on my soul, as they are on yours.

But our hearts were not broken in the same way as the hearts of the relatives and friends of those who lost their lives here. Many relatives of the victims are here in our midst today. I wish to take this opportunity to express my deepest and most heartfelt condolences to them and to all of the people of New York and America.

Humbly, I stand here before you as a Dutchman and a European.

I, too, however, cannot forget.

How can anyone forget?

Let me remind you of the words from Darryl Worley’s 9/11 song.

Have you forgotten how it felt that day?

To see your homeland under fire

And her people blown away

Have you forgotten when those towers fell?

We had neighbors still inside going thru a living hell

Worley’s response is our response: No, we will NEVER forget.

We are here today because we have not forgotten all the loved ones that were lost and those left to carry on. And neither has the world.

When the forces of Jihad attacked New York, they attacked the world.

Among those lost were people from 55 nations, people of every religion and every persuasion. No place on earth had a more multi-ethnic, multi-racial, and multi-lingual workforce than New York’s proud towers.

That is exactly why they were targeted. They constituted an insult to those who hold that there can be no peaceful cooperation among people and nations without submission to Sharia; to those who wish to impose the legal system of Islam on the rest of us.

But New York and Sharia are incompatible. New York stands for freedom, openness and tolerance.

New York’s Mayor recently said that New York is “rooted in Dutch tolerance.” Those are true words. New York is not intolerant. How can it be? New York is open to the world.

Suppose New York were intolerant. Suppose it only allowed people of one persuasion within its walls.

Then it would be like Mecca, a city without freedom.

Whatever your religion, persuasion or gender is, in New York you will find a home. In Mecca, if your religion isn’t Islam, you are not welcome.

Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf claims the right to build a mosque, a house of Sharia here – on this hallowed ground.

But, friends, I have not forgotten and neither have you. That is why we are here today. To draw the line. Here, on this sacred spot. We are here in the spirit of America’s founding fathers. We are here in the spirit of freedom. We are here in the spirit of Abraham Lincoln, the President who freed the slaves.

President Lincoln  said: “Those who deny freedom to others, deserve it not for themselves.”

These words are the key to our survival. The tolerance that is crucial to our freedom requires a line of defense.

Mayor Bloomberg uses tolerance as an argument to allow Imam Rauf and his sponsors to build their so-called Cordoba Mosque.

Mayor Bloomberg forgets, however, that openness cannot be open-ended. A tolerant society is not a suicidal society.

It must defend itself against the powers of darkness, the force of hatred and the blight of ignorance. It cannot tolerate the intolerant – and survive.

This means that we must not give a free hand to those who want to subjugate us.

An overwhelming majority of Americans is opposed to building this mosque. So is an overwhelming majority everywhere in the non-Islamic world.

Because we all realize what is at stake here. We know what this so-called Cordoba mosque really means.

Imam Rauf maintains that American secular law and Sharia law are based on the same principles. He refuses to condemn terrorists because he says terrorism is “a very complex question”.

He says America is “an accessory to the crime that happened on 9/11.” “In fact,” he literally said, “in the most direct sense, Osama bin Laden is made in the USA.”

He also says that “terrorism will only end when the West acknowledges the harm it has done to Muslims.”

That is why this man should not play the game he has in mind here in Manhattan. His “Blame the West, Blame America”-message is an insult. Americans – and by extension, all of us whose civilization was also attacked on 9/11/2001 – are not to blame for what happened here nine years ago today.

Osama bin Laden is not made in the USA. The West never “harmed” Islam before it harmed us.

Most Americans  do not want this so-called Cordoba Mosque to be built here. They understand that it is both a provocation and a humiliation. They understand the triumphant narrative of a mosque named after the Great Mosque of Cordoba which was constructed where a Christian cathedral stood before the land was conquered by Islam.

An overwhelming majority of Americans is opposed to building an Islamic cultural center close to Ground Zero. There is no lack of mosques in New York. There are dozens of buildings in which Muslims can pray. It isn’t about a lack of space for prayers. It’s about the symbolic meaning.

We who have come to speak today, object to this mosque project because its promoter and his wealthy sponsors have never suggested building a center to promote tolerance and interfaith understanding where it is really needed: In Mecca – a town where non-Muslims are not even allowed to enter, let alone build churches, synagogues, temples or community centers.

Ordinary Americans object to the mosque project because currently no fewer than ten major multi-million dollar mosque projects are being planned in the United States as well as dozens in Europe, while not a single church is allowed in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia, while Jews are not even allowed to move their lips in prayer on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, while the oldest Christians in the world, the Copts, are not free to renovate their churches, let alone to build one in Egypt.

My friends, that is why we are here today. What happens in New York must be seen in the perspective of the world. The events nine years ago made an enormous impact everywhere. Most people shared your pain, but, unfortunately, some did not.

Nine years ago, when the news of the terrible atrocity in New York reached Europe, Muslim youths danced in the streets. In a poll, two thirds of the Muslim immigrants in the Netherlands expressed partial or full understanding for the 9/11 terrorists.

If a mosque were built here on Ground Zero such people would feel triumphant.

But we, we will not betray those who died on 9/11.

For their sakes we cannot tolerate a mosque on or near Ground Zero.

For their sakes loud and clear we say: No mosque here!

For their sakes, we must draw the line.

So that New York, rooted in Dutch tolerance, will never become New Mecca.

But, let us also express our gratitude for the heroes of 9/11, those who went down in that Pennsylvania field, those who were standing freedom’s watch at the Pentagon, and those who were here in New York nine years ago to risk and lose their lives for the victims.

Friends, in honor of these victims, these heroes and their families, I believe that the words of Ronald Reagan, spoken in Normandy on the 40th anniversary of D-Day, resonate with new purpose on this hallowed spot. President Reagan said: “We will always remember. We will always be proud. We will always be prepared, so we may always be free.”

And, we, too, will always remember the victims of 9/11 and their loved ones who were left behind;

We, too, will always be proud of the heroes;

We will always defend liberty, democracy and human dignity;

In the name of freedom: No mosque here!

CNN International has just reported about the “TWO” Rallies about the GZM.
They reported the rally in support of the mosque with their cameras and reported 6 seconds of Pam/Robert rally against the mosque WITH A CELLPHONE CAMERA!!!
Not a single word about Pam, Robert or Geert Wilders.
Disgusting.
CNN, BBC (MSM) are far more dangerous than any muslim.
Half of the reports on CNN International are about Islam and muslims.
Traitors !!!
GOD Bless Pam, GOD Bless Robert, GOD Bless America.

I have to believe that Geert Wilders is a hero for the ages, and if our side wins in the decades ahead,he will be remembered by those with the wits and spirit to honor the best of human nature with the likes of Leonidas, Lincoln, Wallace and Churchill.
May the blessings of the God of our Fathers, the God of the Bible, be upon this best of men, and those like him. The world has gone mad, but to those of us who hold to the core values of courage, honor, freedom and sacrifice, Geert, Pam and Robert–and those like them–deserve our thanks and deepest respect. They should each of them be given the key to New York at the very least, but Bloomberg is too busy kissing the profit’s posterior to pay any attention.
New York: the eyes of the world are upon you. You who have suffered more than any other American icon: what will you ultimately say to us about Islam?

GEERT WILDERS says, President Reagan said: “We will always remember. We will always be proud. We will always be prepared, so we may always be free.”
GEERT WILDERS fails to mention that President Ronald Reagan was the primary benefactor of Saudi Arabia, Islam, and Islamic Shariat in Pakistan and Afghanistan.
GEERT WILDERS fails to mention that Ronald Reagan continued illegal arms-dealing with Iran, which benefited Islamic Republic of Iran in its early stage.
GEERT WILDERS fails to mention that Ronald Reagan used to have severe memory-loss when confronted with American government’s military and economic assistance to establish Islamic rules in various parts of the world.
GEERT WILDERS fails to mention that President Ronald Reagan used to dance with joy when Saudi King used to pay a visit at the White House. (There is an official photo of Reagan dancing before Saudi King!)
GEERT WILDERS fails to mention that when Islamic forces killed nearly 250 U.S. marines, President Ronald Reagan withdrew immediately America’s military presence from Lebanon.

Brilliant speech! Geert Wilders is indeed a hero for the ages… as are Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer. I am in awe of your courage in the face of the resistance and personal danger you have faced because of this struggle for freedom.
Let’s spread the word and let people know that we will fight for our country to be free of the fanaticism of the imam and the GZ Mosque.

The biggest weapon against Islamization of America is the known and recorded history.
When men like Geert Wilders and Dinesh D’Souza distort history to write hagiographies of President Ronald Reagan, the opponents of Islamization of America lose their biggest weapon!
Making Ronald Reagan bigger than what he actually was only helps sycophants like Dinesh D’Souza to sell books.

Dank U, Mynheer Wilders.
Still, I disagree with your calls to ban the Qu’ran, even though I, as a Christian, see it as packed with error, and understand its role in bringing about the tragedy which we commemorate today.
Let’s be free peoples in that we are able to read the bad books and refute them. Leave book-banning bigotry to the Islamic street and the Communist splinter parties–you know, the people who blame the failures of the Marxist-Leninist system on the unfortunate Slavig Uentermenschen, Primitive Chinese Asiatics, and Cuban Mulattoes who had the misfortune to have it imposed on them by armed middle-class innaleckshuls.

Something is drastically wrong with the posted YouTube videos, I am transcribing and the words do NOT match what is posted here. Did the transcription get taken correctly?
Here’s what I have so far…
Current YouTube copies of Geert Wilder’s speech is abridged
I have picked up 4 different postings, and they are all have the same
unexplained skipping.
At marker 1:12 Geert says “you hear the people you hear the rushing to the various destinations,
you hear the sounds of business..” (skip skip skip at 1:19 the video breaks up)
At marker 1:23 Geert speaks “New York going to be like Mecca, Mecca, the city without freedom.”
I cannot find this sentence in the paragraphs above.
Someone please help out? Are the youtube videos being abridged?

The Muslim world has done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about Islamic terrorism at all. We are quick to condemn our own extremists such as the Koran-burning pastor if we wish (that’s democracy), but Muslims worldwide, though pathologically primed to riot over the printed page, have not yet mounted a single protest on any discernible scale against Islamic terrorist killing of innocent human beings, including the events of 9/11, a disconnect that Muslim leaders such as Imam Rauf have also failed to explain satisfactorily – because they CAN’T.

What a great speech, i’m glad my vote didn’t go to waste.
Geert Wilders in the polls now commands 30-35 seats out of 150, with a 50 seat potential (people who say they might vote for him) he’s never had that high a potential of voters it used to be restricted to 30-35 (out of a 150 seat parliament)

Geert doesnt mention hundreds of Hindu temples all over India turned into victory mosques. Not Geerts fault though, Indians the as cowardly as they come. The Afghan Islamic invader Mahmud of Ghazni destroyed the Hindu pilgrimmage and magnificent temple of Somnath, no less than 17 times. Each raid left a trail of blood and massacres. All this gleefully recorded by his personal historian Utbi. Not content with his raids, Mahmud built mosques and placed the idol of the Hindu deity Shiva under the steps to be trampled over by the faithful. Today, Pakistan is 99% Muslim, where all Hindus & Sikhs have been driven out. Last February two Sikhs were beheaded in Pakistan for refusing to convert to Islam. Why is America flirting with such mindless bigotry? Understanding the dangers of Islam is not easy, particularly for people raised in freedom, adn rock & roll, playboy culture of the west. But look at England today? British cops fear to even enter Islamic neighborhoods. What has Denmark, Sweden or Norway done to Islam? why are Jews being turned out of Malmo neighborhoods? stop Islamofascism now !! More power to Geert !

Re the koran-burning pastor to 50 backwoods types: the media didn’t give him a megaphone; they gave the enemy a cause, to yet again color those epitomes of intolerance with the victim’ label.
As for the Cordoba-Bunker, the large mosques have always been seats of government for the enemy. Any muzlim who tells you that he believes in separation of church and state is either lying or is so marginal as to be outside of the discourse.
Get yourselves a copy of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. ALL “secular” legislation is required to “conform to the injunctions of islam.” Islamofascism is like Communism in the sense that they act as a movement, rather than a final form of governance. At the demise of the Soviet Union, party ideologues stuck to classifying their system as “developed socialism,” with “communism” part of a distant goal. Likewise the enemy is playing the democratic game – and even allowing the “slaves of allah” to assert formal “rights” – but it is certain that at a time, slave status will be restored. Liberty and islam mix like oil and water. The islamofascists believe they are like oil, and can float to the top, if dhimmis like Obama continue to sandbag Western Civilization.
The Cordoba-Bunker aggression is not an exercise of freedom of religion; it is a Supremacist mission to obliterate other religions.
Contrary to what dhimmis will tell you, “din” is not definable as “religion”; the only religion that islam can recognize is islam. And they are brutal to their own sects, which are only indulged because a loose “popular unity” front against their hated enemy – the “disbeliever” (kafirun) in Muhammad’s self-serving lies – and will dissolve into mutual Genocide once all opposition consists only of muzlim claimants.

Finding historical truth has nothing to do with left and right; but, has everything to do with right and wrong.
Soviet Union did not collapse because of Ronald Wilson Reagan or his Islamophilic policies.
Dinesh D’Souza says that Reagan defeated Soviet Union and, that’s why, I call Dinesh D’Souza a hagiographer and bold-faced liar for decorating historical realities just after the fact.
You may like D’Souza and his point of view; but, those view-points do not change any historical fact that is out there before us.
For a better illustration here, a Muslim might say, Islam is the greatest religion on earth; because, he or she knows, Islam uplifts Muslims and downgrades non-Muslims.
For the sake of argument, that Muslim arguer has every right to believe whatever suits him or her.
But, historical facts of Islamic rule do not support any of that Muslim man or woman’s claims or beliefs.
Similarly, you or GEERT WILDERS or Pamela Geller or Dinesh D’Souza might have strong desire as well as financial purpose to twist facts to make Ronald Reagan something that he actually was not.
You have every right and ability to do so.
But, history has an uncanny habit of catching up!
With all his Islamophilic policies, Ronald Reagan simply did not have a God-damn clue that Soviet Union was on verge of collapse, let alone defeating Soviet Union militarily.

Majumder’s point is well-taken that, for far too long, Western leaders have been far too willing to overlook both the welfare of their constituents and the true face of Islam in order to gain easy access to oil – and sometimes even self-profit.
Don’t you wonder whether the Bush family benefited by omitting to ask the hard questions of the supremacist Saudis? Aren’t you curious if our current Congressmen are easy on the supremacist Saudis because those same Congressmen plan to be consultants/employees for the “generous” Saudis upon retirement from public life? Now, that’s what I call an Islamic BRIBE.

RE: “Hundreds of newspeople there, no coverage.”
Why no coverage? The answer is obvious when you ask: “Why were they there?”
They weren’t there to provide coverage of a rally that represents the thinking of 70% of Americans. No, the MSM was there to document if they could anything that might make it look like the rally represented “violent, hateful, far-right radicals.”
Since most Americans are not violent or hateful, and the rally reflected this fact, the MSM could find nothing to document their false portrayal of conservatives. Therefore, there was nothing for them to report.

However, look what is happening to Geert Wilders when he tries to refute this bad book? These hair-trigger angry Islamists are trying to have him stifled or killed, which is the way they deal with those who disagree with their group mind.
I hope to live to see Islam revert to its natural place in society – a pagan cult which only lunatics belong to willingly – a fringe group. But I doubt that I will while we are ruled by “eyes wide shut” dhimmis who believe that it is raining when Islam is pissing on their legs.

Majumder; I assume you are a Hindu. India is a front-line State against muz aggression. And you have 150,000,000 muz bringing down the Indian economy. Forty percent of Indian muz education curriculum is spent on worthless quran, arabic, hadith studies. Then there is the prostration 5 times a day to the god entity of alien aggressors who exterminated over 100,000,000 Hindus. Yes, we know that “Hindu Kush” mountain range is a reference to that slaughter (Kush = Murder in arabic).
Don’t compare Reagan to idiots like Carter, Clinton, the Bushs and Obama. You missed Bush’s proclamation that “islam is peace,” while 3000 of his countrymen were in pieces at the WTC and Pentagon. But the worst incident in the history of the US Presidency occured when Bush Jr did the Saud “sword dance.” That dance celebrates a regime that has beheaded thousands of its critics, and confers ex post facto indulgence of Saudi atrocities. All that for a Saud financed library in his name. What a FRAUD.

Very true WAKE UP. If anything the Muslim world encourages it. Take the following from Palestinian children’s television, reported on CiF Watch at http://cifwatch.com/2010/09/12/what-the-guardian-wont-report-host-to-child-on-palestinian-authority-childrens-show-the-jews-are-our-enemies-right/
Read the article and look at the videos, in which the adult interviewer shamelessly leads the children to express hatreds which they probably as yet don’t know the real meaning of.
These Islamists are deliberately breeding the next generation of haters and infringing the human rights of their children. And the world by-stands.
