Pamela Geller, Big Journalism: When It Comes to the Ground Zero Mosque: ‘Truth Is the New Hate Speech’

51

Once is not enough.

The Guardian is at it again — they are playing the 2006 bikini vlog on endless loop. Those poor boys must be exhausted.

If you missed this Goebbels-inspired smear piece in the Guardian the day before yesterday, (the only thing missing is that I am the Elder of Zion), then you have missed an historic moment: the media melting down right in front of our eyes.

Story continues below advertisement

Yesterday, they kicked off (yet again) with the bikini screenshot as somehow iconic of my body of work (no pun intended). Any mention of my book, hundreds of my articles (not published on my blog), my activism? Nah, don't be silly, facts are irrelevant.

The Guardian's latest is entitled, The US blogger on a mission to halt 'Islamic takeover.'

The Middle East was once a Christian region. Now it's all Islamic save the teeny, tiny Jewish state, and the ummah is having none of that…………but why split hairs, eh?

Check out my latest oped at Breitibart's big Journalism:

Bj guardian

Excerpt of it — but do go and read the whole thing: When It Comes to the Ground Zero Mosque: ‘Truth Is the New Hate Speech’

The left is dismissive of the grief and offense caused by the
prospect of a victory mosque at Ground Zero. The left is contemptuous of
how 9/11 families and the majority of Americans feel; they’re sick in
their fierce rush to erect the mosque. They’re even trying to blame me
for America’s natural and logical response to an Islamic supremacist
mosque being built on a site that was part of the 9/11 attack. The
Geller hit pieces have been coming fast and furious
and obvious, as if discrediting me will make the pain and anger over
the mosque go away. Despite all the competition from its many rivals in
this game, the Guardian took first prize for smear, slander, libel and personal destruction. The notoriously anti-Semitic Guardian took on the Jewish Atlas, and could barely contain itself.

ground zero mosque

My crime? Hate speech. And that proves once again what I have
contended all along: “truth is the new hate speech.” Knowledgeable
conservative readers will get a charge out of the Guardian’s
story, which is a mixture of pure fiction and dangerous lies, all
devoted to the marginalization of those who dare to expose the liberal
media propaganda machine.

The anti-Semitism was open: “Geller,” claimed Chris McGreal, the
author of the piece, “writes for an Israeli media network based in the
occupied territories that is the voice of the Jewish settler movement.”

I do? They just make stuff up. I don’t even know what they
are talking about, but if Chris McGreal is in touch with this “Israeli
media network,” he should let them know that I would love to write for
them — please point the way!

The rest of the piece is just as ridiculous. “Pamela Geller,” the Guardian
tells its mouth-breathing readers, “is on a mission to save the free
world and she’s doing it, on this occasion, in a bikini as she writhes
around in the sea –

“Here I am in my chador, my burka,” Geller jokes to the camera
in one of a string of video blogs campaigning against Islamic “world
domination” shortly before kicking back in the waves. “There is a
serious reality check desperately needed here in America and I’m here to
give it to you, but I’m just not ginormous enough. What can I say? And
on that note I’m going to go swimming in the ocean, and visit my mama,
and fight for the free world.”

This strange performance might suggest that Geller is a
figure consigned to the margins of the widening and increasingly heated
debate about the role of Muslims in America. Far from it.

The 2006 bikini blog
is back! I’ve recorded 400 vlogs and the sticky-fingered smear machine
can’t stop watching the one in which I’m wearing a bikini and wading in
the ocean. I just hope they watch it with the sound on.

It is comedy. It is to laugh. It is to cry.

This is heat? The guy is most likely in his bedroom drooling with his laptop on his lap. All he has done in reality though, is underscore how a gorgeous lady with a lot of talent, brains and moxy can bring this whole national discussion to life, out of the darkness, and into the light, where the evil plans of this Imam and his wife Daisy, are exposed to Americans at large. Pamela didn’t need to blog in her bikini, but her life, her thoughts, who she is, where she blogs from, pretty much is an open book to her readers. She has nothing to be ashamed about, nothing to hide, applying make up in her bathroom while talking to her daughter, being a mom, staying up late at night unable to sleep, it’s completely believable, and totally relatable, but completely American. What I see is an “American Woman” who juggles being a mother, and all that entails, plus a journalist, and all that entails, plus a daughter, sibling, friend, spokesperson and a down right caring and compassionate human being. This is no small undertaking, her time and her money have been spent on a project to protect the innocent woman of Islam. She has a noble character, something very few people today can even start to relate to. It’s no wonder she has my support, with her conservative profile, as hip as she is, as a die hard New Yorker, and lets face it, the likelihood of those two worlds colliding into one chic modern day lady, well it’s not typical lets just say that.
Anyone who finds fault with this lady is nothing but a liar, and a pretentious, arrogant, fool! The only people who support this Mosque are those aristocratic, ego centric leaders who have been smudging the beautiful complexion of our nation with their presence in politics and society. They need to go back to where they began in life, and find out where they were when the elementary school teacher was giving the lesson on Patriotism and loyalty to our flag, because they have none. They have nerve being American political figure heads when they sell us out to some Islamic Imam and his wife Daisy Khanartist who have used the doctrine of Taqqia to deceive. Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive. Pam, you are a fine example of a multi-tasking momma!

This Chris McGreal is a major misogynist…no wonder he loves pandering to Islam. They share the same ideals about women. Pamela you scare him, that’s why he’s attacking you from the safety of his living room or wherever he writes his garbage. What saddens me is that the USA should be behind you in your efforts. That the left can be so misguided (and I’m being kind here) to support all that would bring America to a halt and to trample on what’s best about the USA is just more evidence that the government of the USA is not a government by the people, and for the people, rather it is a tyranny, a dictatorship in the making. Things need to turn around, fast, We need an army of Pamela Gellers, this is war, or hasn’t anyone yet noticed?

The heat Pamela Geller is feeling is from the pace she is keeping from the countless TV and radio interviews, the bestselling book that is now in its second printing and the tens of thousands of articles she has written.
Hey Pamela, what are the atlasshrugs #s now? Oh yeah, almost 21,000,000 hits in just five years
and it’s ranked #16 best conservative blog…

Actually the frequent use of the Bikini shot confirms two basic truths:
#1. You have them worried because your arguments have been effective so you must be marginalized in any way possible.
#2. Any online story featuring you in a bikini is likely to increase web hits, which is the bottom line for any website.
Neither of these facts should surprise anyone.

The bikini backlash just goes to show you that in reality liberals are not all that far removed from their Islamist allies.

Madeleine, you’re right. McGreal makes a life goal of hating all things to do with Israel, and those who don’t agree with his false liberalism. Therefore, he’s a gift to the Guardian because he just lurves Islam, and they fall over themselves to pat his head.
I’ve just been on the Guardian’s Comment is Free blog and seen the link to Pamela’s comments displayed. Good luck to whoever did it – it won’t stay up long – as it’s showing their Golden Boy Chris McGreal up for what he is, a liar – this certainly doesn’t “chime” with the Guardian’s world view

OT but noteworthy
CAIR, in it’s daily “smear” newsletter is making sure their supporters see this:
“Photo Essay: A Brief History of Intolerance in America View the images.”
Time, 8/30/10
View the images. http://www.time.com/time/photogallery/0,29307,2011978_2179331,00.html
I guess they’re trying to dig up examples to prove Americans are intolerant and won’t allow a mosque near Ground Zero, the whiney, hypocritical babies.
The key word here is “brief, Americans are among the most tolerant people on earth, much to their detriment.
If it was about islam the heading would be:
“Photo Essay”: An Ongoing History of Zero Tolerance by Islam, use caution when viewing graphic & offensive images

Since when is a religion, any religion,a race? How can it be racism to be of the opinion that any religion is untrue or true? Are they really that uninformed or are they trying to confuse and avoid the real issue? Obviously it is the latter. The fact is that you had beater critically examine.analyze, and state your opinion on every religion before you adopt one and that means rejecting others. There is nothing racial implied when about the ones you reject.
My examination of Islam shows me that it is not even a religion, but rather a political ideology. And it is my right to say that is what I believe without being called a racist. It is also the right of America to outlaw political systems than are a threat to our country. We should do that and do it now!!!

Pamela Geller

Imam Rauf and Daisy Khan announced the ground break date of September 11, 2011 months ago.

aisy Khan says, “We need to take the 9/11 tragedy and turn it into something very positive.”
Something very positive, Ms. Khan? What could ever be positive about a day on which thousands of Americans and others were murdered in an unprovoked sneak attack on American soil by maniacal Islamic terrorists?
To clarify, Daisy Khan is executive director of the American Society for Muslim Advancement and wife of a local imam. She concluded that “very positive” statement by adding, “It will also serve as a major platform for amplifying the silent voice of the majority of Muslims who have nothing to do with extremist ideologies.”
The “it” was a reference to plans to build a 13 story “monster mosque” at 45 Park Place in New York City, just 2 blocks from the site of Ground Zero. The building chosen was severely damaged by the landing gear of one of the planes that crashed into the World Trade Center.
To be called Cordoba House, the structure will incorporate an Islamic cultural center, a theater, recreational facilities including a swimming pool, and possibly day care as well as a mosque. The developers anticipate breaking ground for the complex on September 11, 2011.

I have seen the date attributed back to project developer Sharif el-Gamal and a web search on > Cordoba Sharif El-Gamal September 11, 2011 < produces a lot of blog leads, but the first 'reliable' news source I could find on the issue was in the 26th May 2010 Daily Mail: "Construction is due to begin on September 11 next year – the 10th anniversary of the terrorist attack." See: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/worldnews/article-1281497/Ground-Zero-mosque-gets-ahead-New-York.html
I searched for other stories having some direct attribution for the date but found no others.

The privileges of being classed as religion should be withdrawn from Islam. If Hitler had claimed that ‘Mein Kampf’ was dictated by God, should we be forced to classify the Nazi Party as a religion? Islam is first and foremost a mind-destroying, totalitarian political ideology that spreads through the Body Politic like a virus.
Winston Churchill gave the correct diagnosis over a century ago, when he compared Islam to a contagious virus or meme – ‘as dangerous in a man as rabies in a dog’ http://crombouke.blogspot.com/2010/01/islam-murder-meme-and-rabies-of.html
Consequently, Islam should be reclassified from ‘RELIGION’ to ‘PUBLIC MENTAL HEALTH PROBLEM’ – a fatal contagious mental illness. It could then be contained by the methods used to prevent the spread of typhoid and other lethal epidemics: enforced exclusion and quarantime of carriers, eradication of foci of infection, immunization of the susceptible population etc.

The solution is simple, I say build it. Here’s why
“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof”
Here’s the problem with the “sensitivity argument” which is…. it infringes on the Freedom of an individual rights. An example; Many Muslims view the caricature of the prophet (pbuh) as a sensitive issue. Yet proponents have said that “by giving in to the sensitivity of Muslims to these pictures, our freedom of expressions are infringed upon”. Another example Terry Jones, head of the controversial church Dove World Outreach Center, has called for “Burn Quran Day” on 911. We Muslims view this has hatred and irrational, but Mr. Jones is free to do as he pleases. First Amendment is clear on this issue, we individuals are free to do as we please “so long as we don’t harm anyone”. The mosque should be built solely because of that.

So what your saying Darlene is in actaully fact all countries in the world that have a islamic backed government such as Malaysia (Islam makes up 60.3% of the religous population), Indonesia (Whose Islamic government has backed the USA on the so called ‘War on Terror’) Mali (Who again backs the ‘War on Terror’) should positioned as a ‘threat to our country’? Dont think that would really work…do you?

You have to more specific when you say “Middle East”. Back then the region was ruled by Empires (eg Persian, Roman) and these present days countries came to existence after WW1 once the Ottoman Empire collapsed.
Having said that, Christianity, Islam and Judaism are known as Abrahamic religions because of their common origin through Abraham. Muslims commonly refer to Christians and Jews as “People of the Book” (Ahle-kitaab), people who follow the same general teachings in relation to the worship of the One God as known by Abraham.
Muslims Believe in Jesus, Noah, Solomon, Jacob, Moses (May God Bless Them All).

RalphB
RalphB

I hope you are being sarcastic, because if your mind-control program was put into place for Islam, the next target would be fundamentalist Christianity, followed by right-wing talk radio, etc., with no stopping point other than the opinions of those in power.
Your argument plays right into the hands of Musa Yusuf, below, since he want’s you to see no difference between Muslim riots, calls for laws prohibiting insults to Islam and death threats to cartoonists (not to mention the murder of Theo VanGogh), and the peaceful calls for Imam Rauf and company to be sensitive to the offense felt by so many Americans regarding a Ground Zero mosque. So now you are calling for exclusion and quarantine of Muslims (prison camps perhaps?), eradication of foci of infection (bomb the mosques and madrassas? kill the imams?) and immunization of the susceptible population (re-education camps? brainwashing?).
It’s all well and good to learn about your ideological enemies but you appear to have been so strongly absorbed into the philosophy of totalitarian Islam that you yearn to imitate it, only with Muslims replacing non-submissive infidels.
Your rant sounds like an attempt to discredit those of us who respect the humanity of Muslims while exposing the threat to life and liberty presented by the consistent application of their ideology. Thanks for nothing.
