The largest non-nuclear explosion on record hit the Beirut Marines 26 years ago.
A Muslim bomber steered a truck loaded with the equivalent of six tons of TNT down the airport road in Beirut, Lebanon. He plowed into the four-story barracks where more than 300 U.S. troops from a U.N. peacekeeping mission slept, and detonated what the FBI called the largest non-nuclear bomb in history.
The explosion and fireball pulverized the concrete fortress, killing 241 U.S. service members, most of them Marines. A second blast minutes later at the compound of the French peacekeeping force killed 58 more Western troops. Three months later, President Ronald Reagan pulled the Americans out of Beirut. And Rifqa's "radical" Muslim parents' mosque is hosting supporters of this attack on America? Oh yeah, I can just see the warm and cozy reception they will hold upon Rifqa the apostate's return. Hat tip Weasel Zippers (hat tip Armaros)
What makes this even more deplorable is the precursor to Hezbollah, Islamic
Jihad, carried out the suicide bombing on our embassy in Beirut…..
The extremist Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC) has apparently found a
home in Hilliard at the Noor Islamic Cultural Center. Just this past February,
MPAC community development director Haris Tarin made an appearance at Noor. And just this past
weekend, the chief MPAC extremist himself, Salam Al-Marayati, was the featured
speaker at a youth(!) event at Noor:

Al-Marayati made national news this week when he refused to meet with
the Pope, as reported by the Associated Press ("US Muslim Group Declines to Meet
Pope"). So much for "interfaith relations". However, this isn't the
first, or even the second, time that Al-Marayati's extremism has made news.
What is so particularly offensive about Al-Marayati's appearance is
that the visit of this openly pro-Hezbollah supporter coincides with the 25th
anniversary of the US Embassy bombing in Beirut by Hezbollah,
which killed 63 people, including 17 Americans.

Your contribution supports independent journalism
Please take a moment to consider this. Now, more than ever, people are reading Geller Report for news they won't get anywhere else. But advertising revenues have all but disappeared. Google Adsense is the online advertising monopoly and they have banned us. Social media giants like Facebook and Twitter have blocked and shadow-banned our accounts. But we won't put up a paywall. Because never has the free world needed independent journalism more.
Everyone who reads our reporting knows the Geller Report covers the news the media won't. We cannot do our ground-breaking report without your support. We must continue to report on the global jihad and the left's war on freedom. Our readers’ contributions make that possible.
Geller Report's independent, investigative journalism takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. But we do it because we believe our work is critical in the fight for freedom and because it is your fight, too.
