Reverting to Islam: NY Imam Informant Turned on USA and Tipped off Muslim Bomber, Zazi the Nazi, of FBI Surveillance

The Muslims who are "working with" law enforcement present a special problem. It is in their doctrine that good Muslims, pious Muslims, lie, deceive to advance Islam, institute sharia, take over non-Muslim lands.

The New York imam working with law enforcement on the biggest bust in the US since 911 illustrates just how difficult the problem is. Imam Afzali, a permanent legal resident from Afghanistan, is accused of
lying to the FBI after he allegedly tipped off terror suspect Najibullah Zazi, 24.

The Queens imam is charged with lying to federal authorities investigating an alleged terror conspiracy. His family posted a $1.5-million bail.

Zazi was charged Thursday with one count of conspiring with others, who are not named, to use "one or more weapons of mass destruction," court papers say, including bombs or other explosives. Zazi's father, Mohammed Zazi, 53, also of Aurora, also was arrested and charged with making false statements to federal authorities.
In New York, Afzali declined to answer reporters' questions regarding Zazi other than to say Zazi used to visit the mosque.

The loyalty is always to Islam.

It's interesting to watch the media report on Islamic attacks on the West and struggle with identifying the enemy. Never is Islam mentioned, nor the violent doctrine in the quran that inspires the millions of mujahideen worldwide. Wild.

Obama has no trouble calling it out the enemy by its name – global warming.

Rep Peter King has been a giant on the war on jihad. Amazing guy.

A 'double agent' informant  NY Post

Najibullah Zazi planned for more than a year to manufacture and detonate bombs, with New York's transit system the likely target.

Those are among the terrorism charges lodged yesterday against the airport-shuttle driver, who reportedly admitted having received weapons and explosives training from al Qaeda.

Let's hope Attorney General Eric Holder was right when he said he believes that "any imminent threat arising from this case has been disrupted."

But there's another troubling element to this case: the role of Ahmad Wais Afzali, a Queens imam who, despite having cooperated with investigators in the past, allegedly tipped off Zazi that the feds were closing in — forcing agents to move against Zazi sooner than planned.

Which raises the question of whether Afzali's dual role — cooperating against would-be terrorists on the one hand, tipping them off on the other — was an aberration. The FBI and local police have invested much time and effort in trying to develop sources of information in the Muslim community.

But some, like Rep. Pete King, claim that "80 to 85 percent of mosques in this country are controlled by Islamic fundamentalists." And while "average Muslims are loyal . . . they won't come forward and cooperate with police." The charges against Afzali make King's allegations all the more worrisome.
