It was only when her father was warned by the members of the Muslim community at Noor Islamic Cultural Center that his daughter was an apostate, that Rifqa bolted. She had to run: he vowed to kill her in the time honored Islamic tradition of honor killings. The Noor Islamic Cultural Center has a notorious reputation for extremist ties. Wonder what his friends at the Noor Islamic Cultural Center, especially his best friend and
mosque president Hany Saqr, think about that? Oh, and did I mention that Sultan
used to be the religious director at the Islamic school in Hilliard, Sunrise Academy, and the scholar-in-residence for the Islamic Society of Greater Columbus? They have any thoughts on
his comments? And was this what Sultan was preaching while he was touring
Columbus-area mosques this month?
