Today, in front of the collective negation of humanity, aka the UN, I was asked to speak at a tribute to the victims of the Greek, Armenian and Assyrian Genocides by Islamic jihad. While it was a small affair, it was powerful, passionate and determined to change the sanction of genocide.

Story continues below advertisement

This year’s commemoration was organized and hosted by Panthracian Union of America ‘Orpheus’ and supported by the Hellenic League of America, HLA. I spoke, along with such guest speakers as First Vice-President of the International Association of Genocide Scholars, Professor Alex Hinton; President of the Federation of Hellenic Societies of Greater New York, Elias Tsekerides and President of the PanPontian Federation of USA and Canada, Dimitris Molohides.

The SIOA board member, the magnificent Pamela Hall, was there. I will update the posts with her pics and video later……

Geller partial remarks:

Rand said, evil is made possible by the sanction you give it, withdraw your sanction. We are at war. The jihadi wars that behind the unsepeakable atrocities that befell the Greeks, Armenians, Assyrians, Zeyadis and Jews are on the rise and on the rage.

December 19th 2007 the International Association of Genocide Scholars adopted a resolution to recognize the Assyrian Genocide. Finally, an international organisation made of qualified scholars has made a resolution to recognize the jihad slaughter of millions of Armenians, Greeks, Assyrians, Jews and Yezidis by the Islamic warlords  of the Ottoman Empire and call it what it was – Genocide.

The Ottoman Empire now Turkey claims to have changed and has become a Democratic country and and wants to be welcomed into the European Union despite never acknowledging let along making amends or recompense for the their murder of millions, during the late Ottoman Empire, of hundreds of thousands of Armenians, Assyrians, Greeks and other minorities were killed in a planned, organized genocide that was carried out by the government of the time.

And yet the "moderate" Prime Minister of Turkey Erdogan "Mosques are our barracks, minarets our bayonets, domes our helmets, the believers our soldiers."

The Assyrian population in the Ottoman Empire numbered about one million at the turn of the twentieth century and was largely concentrated in what is now Iran, Iraq and Turkey.[1] Like other Christians residing in the empire, they were treated as second-class citizens and denied public positions of power. Violence directed against them prior to the First World War was not new. Many Assyrians were subjected to  massacre and forced conversion to Islam.

Armenian_genocide

Hitler admitted that Armenian genocide was the template for his extermination of the Jews. Hilter said:

Our strength consists in our speed and in our brutality. Genghis Khan led millions of women and children to slaughter — with premeditation and a happy heart. History sees in him solely the founder of a state. It's a matter of indifference to me what a weak western European civilization will say about me.

I have issued the command — and I'll have anybody who utters but one word of criticism executed by a firing squad — that our war aim does not consist in reaching certain lines, but in the physical destruction of the enemy. Accordingly, I have placed my death-head formations in readiness — for the present only in the East — with orders to them to send to death mercilessly and without compassion, men, women, and children of Polish derivation and language. Only thus shall we gain the living space (Lebensraum) which we need. Who, after all, speaks today of the annihilation of the Armenians?

The world looked away then too. Hitler aligned with the leader of the Muslim world, al-Husseini (an officer in Ottoman Empire who was active in thr Armenian genocide.) Al-Husseini lived in Berlin, in the lap of luxury, all expenses paid by, Hitler.

Greek Historian Discusses Assyrian Genocide

The Assyrian Diaspora should operate on two levels towards genocide recognition. Assyrian organizations should work on a national and international level to publicize the genocide through media campaigns, letter writing campaigns to major newspapers, insertion of single page advertisement of Assyrian Martyrs Day in major newspapers and lobbying important politicians in adopted homelands. At an international level, Assyrian organizations should use the fora of the United Nations and its relevant agencies as well as the European Union to publicize its Genocide. It is also important to engage a public relations firm to help "promote" the Assyrian Genocide to the international community. The issue of reparations remains a contentious one. Do you think a demand for reparations by the victims should be part of the genocide recognition dialogue?

Reparations could form part of the genocide recognition dialogue with Turkey. However this will depend on whether any Assyrians had purchased insurance policies or held bank accounts and title deeds to family property during the last years of the Ottoman Empire. The Armenians have filed law suits against New York Life Insurance, Axa Insurance and Deutsche Bank trying to recover monies of their dead ancestors. So far New York Life and Axa have compensated Armenian descendants. Assyrian activists, like their Armenian counterparts, have sought to pressure Turkey by gaining recognition of the genocide by countries around the world. Do you think this approach is beneficial?Assyrians can focus on the current Middle East situation without taking an eye off the past. I hope that the Assyrians can use their present persecution to tell the international community that their suffering has continued almost non-stop from the early 20th century. It is important that the victims of the First World War are not forgotten and their memories are preserved for future generations.

News account:

Numerous articles in the American press documented the genocide of Assyrians by the Turks and their Kurdish allies. By 1918, The Los Angeles Times carried the story of a Syrian, or most likely an Assyrian, merchant from Urmia who stated that his city was ‘‘completely wiped out, the inhabitants massacred,’’ 200 surrounding villages ravaged, 200,000 of his people dead, and hundreds of thousands of more starving to death in exile from their agricultural lands. In an article entitled ‘‘Native Christians Massacred,’’ the Associated Press correspondent reported that in the vicinity of Urmia, ‘‘Turkish regular troops and Kurds are persecuting and massacring Assyrian Christians.’’ Close to 800 were confirmed dead in Urmia, and another 2,000 had perished from disease. Two hundred Assyrians had been burned to death inside a church, and the Russians had discovered more than 700 bodies of massacre victims in the village of Hafdewan outside Urmia, ‘‘mostly naked and mutilated,’’ some with gunshot wounds, others decapitated, and still others carved to pieces.

Other leading British and American newspapers corroborated these accounts of the Assyrian genocide. The New York Times reported on 11 October that 12,000 Persian Christians had died of massacre, hunger, or disease; thousands of girls as young as seven had been raped or forcibly converted to Islam; Christian villages had been destroyed, and three-fourths of these Christian villages were burned to the ground.[21] The Times of London was perhaps the first widely respected publication to document the fact that 250,000 Assyrians and Chaldeans eventually died in the Ottoman genocide of Christians, a figure which many journalists and scholars have subsequently accepted….

As the Earl of Listowel, speaking in the House of Lords on 28 November 1933, stated, ‘‘the Assyrians fought on our side during the war,’’ and made ‘‘enormous sacrifices,’’ having ‘‘lost altogether by the end of the War about two-thirds of their total number.’'….

About half of the Assyrian nation died of murder, disease, or exposure as refugees during the war, according to the head of the Anglican Church, which had a mission to the Assyrians.

Eyewitness accounts and quotes

Statement of German Missionaries on Urmia.

There was absolutely no human power to protect these unhappy people from the savage onslaught of the invading hostile forces. It was an awful situation. At midnight the terrible exodus began; a concourse of 25,000 men, women, and children, Assyrians and Armenians, leaving cattle in the stables, all their household hoods and all the supply of food for winter, hurried, panic-stricken, on a long and painful journey to the Russian border, enduring the intense privations of a foot journey in the snow and mud, without any kind of preparation… It was a dreadful sight,… many of the old people and children died along the way.[23]

The latest news is that four thousand Assyrians and one hundred Armenians have died of disease alone, at the mission, within the last five months. All villages in the surrounding district with two or three exceptions have been plundered and burnt; twenty thousand Christians have been slaughtered in Armenia and its environs. In Haftewan, a village of Salmas, 750 corpses without heads have been recovered from the wells and cisterns alone. Why? Because the commanding officer had put a price on every Christian head… In Dilman crowds of Christians were thrown into prison and driven to accept Islam.[24]

Thank you Pam for speaking at this memorial event. The world needs to be educated regarding the devastation the Turks and the Islamic horrors they have unleashed (and will again if not prevented). The atrocities against the Orthodox Christians of that area are absolutely vicious and unspeakable.
Never forget. Never again.

pamela:
your remarks were a trenchant reminder of what it is that islam does best.
and that is, whenever it has the upper hand, is slaughter non-muslims. and, when they do not have the capacity to kill by slaughter, they kill by terror, and at the tolerance and behest of the left and those who profit ideologically and politically at their attacks.
the muslims are to be regarded as rabid dogs, sometimes leashed on the chain of masters, and sometimes running wild and rabid. but, that is what they are. end of story.

p.s. yes, islam is the source of their murder, the koran a “holy book” of slaughter, rapine and bestiality.

UnHappy Birthday Mohammed,
Born on April 20th, 570 A.D. in Mecca (Shi’ites believe April 26th).
Atrocities committed in your name continue to this day. No worries, many are leaving Islam due to the power of the Internet and critical thinking skills. One day, the civilized world will realize that the following >ARE NOT good acts, but the epitome of evil from hell:
Muslims are allowed to do all of the following, as Islamic Allah told Mo through an “angel? Gabriel” over 23 years that these are OK – Koranic citations in brackets.
Beheading of Infants and Babies (8:12, 47:4), Pre-Pubescent Child Rape/Marriage/Divorce (65:4), Killing Us While We Sleep (7:97), Killing Dogs (Buhkari Volume 4, Book 54, Number 540), Having Sex Slaves (4:24), Rape (24:13), Death for Insults to Mohammed or Islam (Koran 2:217), Amputation and Crucifixion (5:33), Wives Beating (4:34), Wives Raping (2:223), Theft and Robbery (entire Chapter 8 of Koran called Booty), Extortion (9:29), Terrorism (8:12, 8:59-60), Murder to Get to Heaven (9:111), Lying (3:28, 5:51), Stoning to Death for Adultery (Sahih Muslim 17.4206), Death Penalty for Escaping Islam Mohammed said “Whoever changes his Islamic religion, then kill him.” (Bukhari Volume 9, Number 85, Number 57), and Mo said “I have been made victorious through terror.” (Bukhari Volume 4, Book 52, Number 220).

See the following statement ‘Declaration of Genocide Scholars and Professionals on Israel and
Palestine’ signed by several members of the Inernational Association of Genocide “SCHOLARS” (and a spinoff group);also dig the youtube video of historian Bernard Lewis defending himself on ‘Armenian
Genocide denial’ for which he was fined one franc.

(From above)
This reads like a prime checklist for sociopaths:
Beheading Infants and Babies
Child Rape
Child Marriage
Child Divorce
Murdering Us While We Sleep (Fogel Family??!!)
Killing Dogs
Sex Slaves
Rape
Death for Insults to Mohammad or Islam
Amputation
Crucifixion
Polygamy
Wife Beating
Wife Raping
Theft
Extortion
Terrorism
Murder to Get to Heaven
Lying
Stoning to Death for Adultery
Death Penalty for Escaping Islam
. . . all under the battle cry of their leader: “I have been made victorious through terror.”
Does anyone see a problem here? Like, uh, like no WONDER they want to overthrow America. We stand against everything they’re proud of. Our laws prevent each of the above items “allowed” and supported by their sick gangster “religion.”

We all need to pay great heed to the seriousness and tragedy of these genocidal events.
There is one issue in our current time frame that needs to be rammed home when the topic of genocide comes up:
It is imperative to make it very, very clear what the definition of genocide is as compared to a society having to kill other human beings for self-defense.
I am becoming ever more cognizant of this meme being put out (no doubt from the islamo/leftist propaganda machine) that is slyly and insidiously meshing the two definitions together. And we are seeing a large proportion of the European and American populace buying into this distortion (mostly young, naive people).
How do I properly put into words the seriousness of what we are all going to have to face when these islamo/leftists are ready to set the world on fire again? How well will western societies defend themselves against an attacking force (which will mean killing other human beings, including civilians) when it has bought into the lie that killing an attacking enemy is the same thing as committing genocide against a non-aggressive society?

All those Atheist, Marxist, and worshipers of the golden calf who are working with the Fundamental Islamist to undermine Western Civilization better be ready to stick their butts in the air five times a day, or they’ll be losin their head also. Did the 30,0000 Commies who assisted greatly the Shah of Iran being overthrown who were hung within a year of the Atatolah gaining power. Did they get the chance to go back or revert to Islam? I don’t know but doubt they did. LOL!

The most ancient Christian civilizations of Nestorians and other Oriental Churches were completely wiped out before the end of the Ottoman Empire. Oriana Falaci made that point very strongly in her famous letter to Pope John Paul II.

All man-made systems are Collectivist: they measure human value and non-value by the group.
Judeo-Christian initiated Individual Value.
Small wonder they are Jealous and filled with Hatred.
No one is smarter than their criteria – if they even have any!!! selah
Western Civilization is based on Reality. Islam is based on opinion and jealosy.
Who will still be here during the next 1,000 years. Yes! We, the Individual People.

More proof the situation has not changed since the 6th century. When any group claims exclusive right or ownership of the planet and all that are on it there is not any room for anyone else. That exclusive claim alone debunks the liberal claim that the US is at fault for the anger presented by the self proclaimed exclusive group.

Pamela, Good work, Woman. I commend you on both the deeds and as well as the courage exercised in those deeds.
As you noted, the assertion of “moderate” Prime Minister of Turkey, Erdogan: “Mosques are our barracks, minarets our bayonets, domes our helmets, the believers our soldiers,” that of course, as you know, just basic true Islam—that substantiated and corroborated by the pages of all the “trustworthy” Islamic Sacred texts.
Not surprising thus, Erdogan further asserted: There is no moderate Islam, nor Extreme Islam; there is only Islam.
High time we all wake up to that reality.
Further, high time we realize, the Islam that is the foundation of the law in “the new and Democratic Iraq,” is the Islam of the Qur’an, the Islam spelt out in the Sunnah, the Sirat, and thus the Islam that is the very blueprint from which and foundation on which Shariah is built.
Wise spending of our funds, treasures, and warriors? Hardly.
Hats off to Donald Trump—he is the one of the few who has the courage to state the reality of the facts of our foolish wasteful spending in the Iraqi Experiment. As Donald Trump stated yesterday morning, unless we seize the oil fields in Iraq, all those that died in the experiment died for nothing.
At least if we seized the oil fields, we might at least have, for the pain of our lost children, lower oil prices.
Need I say, God help the nation willing to kill their sons and daughters for lower gas prices.
That said, I reiterate, I commend you on both your deeds and the courage that galvanizes and shepherds your deeds.
God Bless and keep you.
