More Obama Betrayal: Administration Admits “Hundreds” of Meetings with Hamas-CAIR

11

The betrayer in the White House does it to us again. If free societies survive, Barack Obama will go down in history as having done more damage to the U.S. than its worst enemies.

Spencer sums it up: "Hamas-linked CAIR is an unindicted co-conspirator in a Hamas terror funding case — so named by the Justice Department. CAIR operatives have repeatedly refused to denounce Hamas and Hizballah as terrorist groups. Several former CAIR officials have been convicted of various crimes related to jihad terror. CAIR's cofounder and longtime Board chairman (Omar Ahmad), as well as its chief spokesman (Ibrahim Hooper), have made Islamic supremacist statements. Its California chapter distributed posters telling Muslims not to talk to the FBI."

Administration admits to ‘hundreds’ of meetings with jihad-linked group By Neil Munro – The Daily Caller

President Barack Obama’s deputies are holding “hundreds” of closed-door meetings with a jihad-linked lobbying group that is widely derided by critics as a U.S. arm of the theocratic Muslim Brotherhood.

The admission of meetings with the Council on American-Islamic Relations came from George Selim, the White House’s new director for community partnerships, which was formed in January to ensure cooperation by law enforcement and social service agencies with Muslim identity groups in the United States.

“There is hundreds of examples of departments and agencies that meet with CAIR on a range of issues,” he told The Daily Caller, after being asked if his office refuses to meet with any Muslim groups.

CAIR is “the group with the worst record of deception and the deepest ties to terrorists,” said Steven Emerson, the director of the Investigative Project on Terrorism, which tracks the public activities of Islamist lobbying groups.

“The White House is so clueless and/or compromised” when dealing with the brotherhood, said Robert Spencer, the author of several books about Islam and jihad. CAIR, he said, is “the political front of a radically repressive, Jew-hating, woman-hating organization.”

The House of Representatives last month prodded the Department of Justice to end all contacts with CAIR.

“The [appropriations] committee understands that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has an existing policy prohibiting its employees from engaging in any formal non-investigative cooperation with CAIR [and] the committee encourages the attorney general to adopt a similar policy for all department officials,” said the committee report accompanying the 2013 Commerce, Justice, Science Appropriations bill, passed in mid-May by the House.

TheDC interviewed Selim during a June 7 State Department conference on diversity that was hosted by the Office of the Special Representative to Muslim Communities.

After he admitted the extensive ties, Selim declined to explain further. He walked away, but returned to insist to TheDC that it cannot record his comments.

The office’s deputy director, Adnan Kifayat, also berated TheDC for taping the interview with Selim. “That was wrong… it is really bad form,” he said.

“You’re putting a career at risk by asking [questions] without telling him… you cannot ambush people and expect them to actually cooperate,” Kifayet said, adding that TheDC could have committed a felony by recording Selim when he was using a cellphone shortly before the interview.

Kifayat’s boss is Farah Pandith. She is a Muslim born in Kashmir, which is divided between India and Pakistan. Jihad groups from Pakistan have attacked Indian civilians and soldiers in the province since 1949 when India and Pakistan split amid a bloody war.

Selim’s outreach office is controversial because critics say its cooperation policy accepts the separatist demand by CAIR and other Muslim advocacy groups that they — not elected politicians — represent the nation’s 2 million-plus Muslim residents and citizens.

This is so true.

And still we have sheriff’s like Los Angeles County’s Leroy Baca who believes CAIR is a stand up group.
Funny thing about Baca is that he had no idea about CAIR’s reputation on the national front when testifying at Peter Kings committee on Islamic terrorism in America and that they were an un-indited co-conspirator in the nations largest Islamic terrorist case in America to date ” The Holy land Foundation Case” in Texas.
CAIR practices their taquiya charm offense on dhimmi people like Baca in authority all the time to get them on their side.
OT– We are going to see some research coming out of FOX News that has been going on for 5 years now when it comes to the stealth jihad or the enemy within over the next several months beginning with the Nadal Hassan Fort Hood Case.
Watch for reports from FOX News Homeland Security Reporter Catherine Herridge on this.

Is this what I think it is?
This report was broadcast last night on CBS evening news, about a child killed in Syria. But there’s something truly bizarre at the end video at the 1:07 mark. At a public memorial all in attendance, including the children, have their arm extended in what looks like a ‘sieg heil’ salute.

The enemy is within the gates.
The Obama/Clinton/Holder (George Soros) administration are deliberately DESTROYING the security and safety of both Israel and America. U.S. leaders are actively aiding and abetting the planned Muslim conquest of our countries.

I listened to a presentation by George Selim to a Muslim community meeting of WORDE as part of his outreach. It was very interesting for many reasons: what he said, what he didn’t say, and what the audience had to say. The govt. is trying to avoid what has happened in Europe with Muslim communities being separate from their societies and wants to encourage Muslims to be more integrated and participate in civic life. One way to do that is to sue the govt. Yes, he actually encourages that. But he also reminded the audience of all the govt is doing to fight to build mosques when there is opposition by local city councils, etc. More than 90% of the talk was about encouraging the community to demand their civil rights as a way to become more a part of American life. Selim also has no clue about the connection of Muslim organizations like ISNA etc., to the Muslim Brotherhood, and its aims.
The audience definitely believes they are being unfairly targeted at airports. (like the rest of the population isn’t being inconvenienced?) He gave them an address to file complaints: http://www.dhs.gov/trip
They want the government to do more to defend the reputation of Islam against defamation. Mr. Selim explained patiently that the fed. govt. can’t do much because of the 1st Amendment, but the local sheriffs can do more by preventing demonstrations through local regulations. He cited the bond forced on the Koran burning pastor, Terry Jones, by the local sheriff in Dearborn.
The audience also expressed their belief that they are under threat by Islamophobes who they think are agitating violence towards them, as well as under attack by the anti-sharia movement. They think the govt. should do more PR for Islam! Selim reassured them by reminding them of the work by DHS etc. to remove language which connects terrorism with Islam: not using the words jihadists, Islamists, etc.
Selim and the audience are in agreement and believe strongly that there is no connection between Islamic terrorists and Islam. They also seem to think there has been some major backlash of hate crimes against the Muslim community as a result of 9-11. (despite the facts that statistics don’t bear that out)
Whenever the conversation veered to the topic of what the community could do to prevent terrorism it was immediately brought back to the topic of how to protect the civil rights of Muslims. Selim just lightly touched on the “see something, say something” mantra and reminded the audience that a terror attack would have negative implications for their communities. They don’t seem to think it has anything to do with them oddly.
The approach of DHS through Mr. Selim is to encourage “citizenship” and integration by Muslims into American society by encouraging them to file complaints whenever they feel they are being treated unfairly and to encourage them to become involved in public service. Fascinating to watch how the other side thinks.

More from the WORDE website — an interesting interview between Dennis Prager and the President of WORDE, Dr. Hedieh Miramadi. She’s fighting for a moderate Islam, actually decries the efforts of CAIR, and it seems the policy of the Obama Administration, to cast Muslims in a passive and victimized role. see: http://www.worde.org/events/president-mirahmadi-speaks-about-islamic-radicalism-on-dennis-prager-show/

“The betrayer in the White House does it to us again. ” And the betrayers in every other branch and agency let him do it. For God’s sake, why is this guy not being arrested for treason? Exactly how far does he have to go before they understand why we are having leaks? After 9/11, they let him do this? How do we know, he isn’t giving them the date and time of the next attack? How do we know he isn’t one of them? He is talking to them after all? Oh, is it racist to say that?

“moderate Islam” an oxymoron if there ever was one.

@Kufar Dawg I think it’s important to support the moderate Muslims who are willing to fight for a moderate, non-supremacist Islam. It’d be a whole lot easier for all concerned if we can discern and identify the difference, instead of painting them all as benign or as a threat.
You certainly can’t demand American citizens who are Muslims to leave the country or become apostates, but you can expect them to obey American law and be honest about what is being done around the world in the name of Islam, and make sure it doesn’t happen here.

Ugh. Here we go. Pong with Jamadagnii
I do not paint them all as a threat. I condemn the ideology.
The ideology.
Not all Germans were Nazis either but it was the Third Reich that had to be defeated.
I am not going to waste my time congratulating and patting on the back Muslims that don’t want to kill me.
I expect that That’s my bar.
Jihad is the problem. Sharia is the problem. Period. That’s my fight.

LOL. Why don’t you and your islamofascist buddies get the ball rolling on moderate islam by stopping the systematic, state-sponsored persecution of people of other faiths in all your islamic shitocracies and renouncing the rabid antisemitic vomit in the holey quran?
NOTE: I won’t be holding my breath.
