GITMO TERRORISTS WILL BE ROCK STARS IN US JIHAD JAILS

I have been covering the frightening increase of the Islamic radicalization of prison populations of Terror Training Camps/Recruitment In US Prisons:

The Wall Street Journal (February 5, 2003) also confirmed that
Wahhabism is making serious inroads into the black population of
American prisons. It quoted a New York-based Wahhabi imam, Warith Deen
Umar (who until his retirement in 2000 helped run New York's growing
Islamic prison program by recruiting and training dozens of chaplains
and ministering to thousands of inmates himself), as saying:

The 9/11 hijackers should be honored as martyrs. The U.S. risks
further terrorism attacks because it oppresses Muslims around the
world. Without justice, there will be warfare, and it can come to this
country too." Moreyesterday's arrest of four Muslims (converts to Islam) radicalized in prison.

What is being done to stop the building of extreme armies in our prisons? Why are we not criminalizing extreme Islamic indoctrination in American prisons? The prisons must be regulated, inoculated against the conversion and radicalization of a susceptible Muslim population.

Yesterday the following Black Muslim prison converts were ARRESTED: JAMES CROMITIE, a/k/a "Abdul
Rahman," a/k/a "Abdul Rehman," DAVID WILLIAMS, a/k/a "Daoud,"
a/k/a "DL," ONTA WILLIAMS, a/k/a "Hamza," and LAGUERRE PAYEN,
a/k/a "Amin," a/k/a "Almondo".

They allegedly plotted to destroy two Jewish temples, including at least one in the Riverdale
section of the Bronx. FBI agents posing as militants sold them what they
thought were C-4 and a plane-downing Stinger missile.

Obama promised to bring the worst of the worst GITMO combatants here. These savages would be rock stars in the prison system, the grandest of inspirations. Obama said yesterday, "Nobody has ever escaped from one of our `supermax' prisons, which hold hundreds of convicted terrorists." Once again, the President has it wrong and misses the point. They can do a lot more damage inside than merely escape. They can plan, plot, target and send their Islamic jihadi zombies out into the general population to wreak havoc on civilized men.

They were mainly raised without fathers, fathered children themselves out of

cocaine, spent years in jail where they ultimately converted to Islam. All four
were of African descent: three were born in America, one was born in Haiti. One

Two men, including the ringleader, grew up in Brooklyn, New York, (my
hometown); one man grew up in Newburgh, New York where all four men attended a
mosque, (Masjid Al-Ikhlas), which is currently headed by a former
African-American convict and himself a prison convert to Islam, Imam Salahuddin
Muhammed.

Radical Muslim prison chaplain, Warith Deen Umar, a Sunni Muslim, who
allegedly made life dangerously difficult for Shi’a Muslims in prison, recruited
Imam Mohammed to prison chaplaincy work. Umar was quoted as saying that
prisons “were the perfect recruitment and training ground for radicalism and the
Islamic religion.” Umar was subsequently fired after he praised the Islamic
attacks on 9/11. Muhammed, who himself served twelve years in prison for
robbery, was recruited by the Newburgh Mosque to replace Umar as its spiritual
leader.

What is wrong with this picture? Is there anything “right” with it? Is there
anything we can do to “right” this picture?

Why has America been so foolishly complacent about—nay, even complicit–in the
recruitment of jailed African-American men by radical Islamists? Perhaps, for a
variety of reasons, this particular prison population may already have been
brainwashed to hate Jews, Israel, and America. `

Why has America failed to understand that, just as Islamists routinely prey
upon the poor, the disenfranchised, the marginalized, the vulnerable–and on
women and children in Muslim countries–to become human bombs, that Islamists
will surely, inevitably, prey upon their counterparts in America?

Why has America refused to draw some obvious conclusions about radical Islam
(and many reputable folk insist that all Islam, if you read and
understand the holy books, is radical): Namely, that radical Islamists are
violent criminals and that like is drawn to like. Turning Islamist chaplains
loose in an American prison is far more dangerous to us all than is allowing the
proverbial fox into the hen house.

And the jihad is targeting disenfranchised Black Americans (Atlas, May 2007):

Al-Qaida is aggressively recruiting black Americans for suicide operations
against the homeland, say FBI analysts who have reviewed recent videotaped
messages from the terror group's leaders.

A speech released May 5 by Osama bin Laden's deputy confirms earlier fears
that African-Americans are the No. 1 recruiting target for the next generation
of attacks. Al-Qaida has been trying to lower its Arab profile to reduce the
odds that its terror cells will be subjected to security scrutiny.

"Federal and local law enforcement authorities should be aware that al-Qaida
terrorists may not appear Arab," warns a recent Homeland Security intelligence
report obtained by WND. "Non-Arab al-Qaida operatives could find it easier to
avoid unwanted scrutiny since they may not fit typical profiles."

In the latest message, al-Qaida No. 2 Dr. Ayman al-Zawahiri clearly seeks to
sow political and racial discontent among African-Americans. He makes frequent
references to what he calls the "martyr" Malcolm X, and says "I want blacks in
America to know that we are waging jihad to lift oppression from all mankind."

Zawahiri encourages African-Americans to follow the example of Malcolm X,
a.k.a. al-Hajj Malik al-Shabaaz, who he says was not afraid to sacrifice his
life to fight American "oppression."

According to a transcript of the hour-long screed, Zawahiri said this is "the
culture which the struggler and martyr Malcom X (may Allah have mercy upon him)
fought against when he told his repressed black brothers in America, 'If you're
not ready to die for it, take the word "freedom" out of your vocabulary.'"

"Freedom is something that you have to do for yourself," he quotes Malcolm X
as as saying. "The price of freedom is death."

Zawahiri, again citing the teachings of Malcolm X, suggests that black
Muslims who do not rise up against America are no better than "house slaves."

It's the first time al-Qaida has identified Malcolm X as a fellow Islamic
"struggler and martyr," analysts say.

We must outlaw radicalization in the prisons and be vigilant. And that won't be easy. The enemy is armed to the teeth with legal armor.

March 14, New York Sun: The case of New York’s
embattled jailhouse imam, Umar Abdul-Jalil, seen in the photo above
canoodling with ACLU Don Norman Siegel, is causing some to call into
question the existence and size of the city’s prison chaplain program,
which costs taxpayers more than $1 million a year.

As top city officials decide whether to fire Abdul-Jalil 
for his remarks to a conference of Muslim students last year, the case
has raised questions about the city’s use of taxpayer funds to provide
chaplains for inmates in municipal jails.
