A U.S. attorney in Tennessee is reportedly vowing to use federal
civil rights statutes to clamp down on offensive and inflammatory speech
about Islam.Bill Killian, U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of Tennessee, was quoted by the Tullahoma News this week suggesting that some inflammatory material on Islam might run afoul of federal civil rights laws.
"We need to educate people about Muslims and their civil rights, and
as long as we’re here, they’re going to be protected," Killian told the
newspaper.Killian, along with the FBI special agent that runs the Knoxville
office, are set to speak next week to a special meeting with the local
Muslim community, informing them about their rights under federal law."This is an educational effort with civil rights laws as they play
into freedom of religion and exercising freedom of religion," Killian
said about the meeting. "This is also to inform the public what federal
laws are in effect and what the consequences are."Killian pointed to a recent controversy
where a local Tennessee politician posted a photo of a man aiming a
shotgun at the camera with the caption "How to wink at a Muslim.""If a Muslim had posted ‘How to Wink at a Christian,’ could you
imagine what would have happened?" Killian asked, according to the
newspaper.The Department of Justice did not respond Friday to a question about
what guidelines it draws concerning offensive speech and Islam, or
whether the department believes that civil rights statutes could be used
to stifle criticism of Islam.While threats directed at individuals or small groups can lead to
punishment, First Amendment experts expressed doubt that the government
has any power to stop offensive material about Islam from circulating."He’s just wrong," said Floyd Abrams, one of the country's most
respected First Amendment attorneys. "The government may, indeed, play a
useful and entirely constitutional role in urging people not to engage
in speech that amounts to religious discrimination. But it may not,
under the First Amendment, prevent or punish speech even if it may be
viewed as hostile to a religion.""And what it most clearly may not do is to stifle political or social
debate, however rambunctious or offensive some may think it is," Abrams
said.A conservative watchdog group, Judicial Watch, accused the Obama
administration of using federal law to specifically protect Muslims from

I once showed a Muslim woman one of those whitewashed Qur’ans CAIR gave away for free. We were in my home. She told me that I had to place my free Qur’an above all the other books in my bookcase. I let her know what I thought of her suggestion by dropping it on the floor and stepping on it.

I hope somebody asks Bill Killian about Koran 98:6 where it says that non-believers are the vilest of creatures. I know it would be OK for a Muslim to walk around carrying a sign quoting Koran 98:6, and I also know what would happen to a non-believer who walked around carrying a sign that switched non-believer to Muslims.

Burning the Koran does not cause them to be violent. That mans video had NOTHING to do with the murders in Egypt. The US Constitution does not protect Muslim fanatics that want to make the US a Sharia country, nor does it protect Muslim fanatics that want to make slavery legal, “honor-killing” legal, female genital mutilation legal, or make killings of any Muslim or non-Muslim legal. The US Constitution protects Muslims that are law-abiding citizens, that are civilized, and that want to live in peace with everyone around them (even different Muslim sects). Second of all, traditional Islamic teaching did not bring peace to Indonesia nor Europe. It has been responsible for persecuting and wiping out Christians, Jews, Hindus, Sikhs, and moderate Muslims. If your definition of Islam bringing peace to countries is based on this definition from a Muslim fanatic point of view, then I can see why you would say that (because radical Muslims believe that the death of the US and Israel and all “enemies of Allah” is peace itself). After all, Yasser Arafat said it himself “Peace for us means the destruction of Israel.” And third, nice try to shift the blame of Islamic terrorism on us so-called “haters.” Only cowards say that so they don’t have to take responsibility for their crimes, terrorism, etc. What are you doing to condemning the ideology of al-Qaeda, Hamas, PLO, and so forth? Probably nothing. You can start helping the US by condemning versus like Surah 4:3 (slavery), Surah 5:51 (“not taking Christians/Jews as friends”), or any versus that are inhuman, wicked, barbaric, and evil. Yes, I’m telling you to go against traditional Islamic teaching, but that’s the only way there can be peace in the Middle East and other places. In order for Islam to be “modernized,” traditional Islamic teaching needs to be changed. But that’s blasphemy, isn’t it?

I read mohd islam and wondered if someone was trying to use reverse psychology. Surely those aren’t serious comments. If they are serious comments, I must note that clearly there is a war that islam is making on everyone else that nobody else is interested in. These statements make it clear they are using taqeeya when they say peace and then they make statements like they are taking over USA and Australia. Forked tongue and double speak. It goes along with that name given to allah of the deceiver. If mohd islam is serious then it shows how delusional they’ve become listening to their own lies without allowing any other speech to give them balance.
