Benedict Grover: Norquist Fights for the Jihad in Afghanistan

27

In this, the latest act of subversion and sedition by the stealth jihadist of the GOP, Grover Norquist wants to pull out of Afghanistan (as a, ahem …."money-saving measure") and leave that country to Islamic supremacists.

I have been exposing the enemy within the upper echelon of the Republican ranks, namely Grover Norquist and his cell of stealth jihadists, including Suhail Khan, who was recently outted in a video, saying, “The early Muslims loved death, dying for the sake of almighty Allah, more than the oppressors loved life,” said an impassioned Khan, who wiped away tears throughout his speech. “This must be the case when we are fighting.” (Below photo: Grover Norquist and Suhail Khan.)

I lost my Newsmax gig because I crossed the Grover. He has been undermining the right since the nineties. Enough.

Pamela Geller, Frontpage Magazine Interview: Grover Norquist … (March 2010)

CONSERVATIVES MUST SHUN NORQUIST, NOT ANN COULTER (March 2007)

What is it going to take for conservatives to purge these enemies from our ranks? I do not believe that Grover's dirty money trumps the ethics and integrity of the candidates and elected officials we want to support. Any Republican who takes any of  Grover's wahhabi wad of wicked wealth must be targeted, exposed and shunned.
His days of deception are over.

If you want any further evidence of conservative support for the war effort in Afghanistan, look no further than Grover Norquist’s laughable effort to organize a “center-right” coalition against the war. Apparently, Grover wants to pull out of Afghanistan as a money-saving measure — a line of argument, which if followed to its natural conclusion, should also have led us to pull out of World War II while Hitler or Tojo were still in power or to end the Civil War while Jefferson Davis still ruled the South. Think of all the millions we could have saved by ending wars prematurely — quite a bonanza, especially if you ignore the rather substantial costs of defeat.

Norquist seems quite enamored of Ronald Reagan’s pullout from Lebanon after the suicide car-bombing of the Marine barracks in Beirut in 1983. Perhaps he is not aware that this incident was routinely cited — along with the U.S. pullout from Somalia in 1993 — by Osama bin Laden in the 1990s to justify his belief that the U.S. was a “weak horse” that could be attacked with impunity. Note to Grover: Even the great Ronald Reagan was not infallible.

With arguments like that, it is no surprise that Norquist has attracted to his cause such conservative luminaries as … Steve Clemons? Jim Pinkerton? Charlie Kupchan? If those are genuine representatives of the conservative movement, then I’m Donald Duck.

Somehow I think the conservative base is pretty secure for the war effort, because it understands what Grover does not: that we are locked in an existential struggle against Islamist extremists and that defeat in Afghanistan would have severe consequences for us that make the cost of winning the war seem cheap by comparison. It’s the lack of liberal support for the war effort that we have to worry about.

Wrong. What Max Boot does not understand is that Grover does understand, only too well. Boot has missed the real story behind this subterfuge.

In the past, a  number of readers have questioned my choice of venue for the historical counter-jihad events I have held in the past three years — bringing Geert Wilders to CPAC, a jihad conference featuring Wafa Sultan, Steve Coughlin (Pentagon), Simon Deng (Sudan), Anders Gravers (SIOE, Denmark), Elizabeth Sabaditch-Wolff (before anyone had ever heard of her), and Allen West (before his victorious election). This year I am bringing the Ground Zero mosque to CPAC and premiering the new groundbreaking AFDI/SIOA film, The Ground Zero Mosque: The Second Wave of the 911 Attacks.

CPACPOSTER

Many people feel, and rightly so, that the American Conservative Union – the political Right’s largest and most influential grassroots umbrella organization and sponsor of the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) — has abandoned conservative principles and morphed into some fleshy, ambiguous, compromised political machine doling out money and favors for cronies, when it is doing anything at all. I agree. Wholeheartedly. It has been co-opted.

Grover Norquist and Suhail Khan have infiltrated CPAC at the senior level. The Muslim Brotherhood controls the information and dissemination of everything you see, hear, and read on Islam, unless you do your own research, your own study, and frequent blogs like mine and Spencer's. Everything is Muslim Brotherhood propaganda. The Muslim Brotherhood has done at this at the senior level of every government agency. And the media is in lockstep as well. "The strategy of power broker Grover Norquist [is] his wicked project to dress Islamists up as patriotic Republicans so they can infiltrate the government."

Grover Norquist hoped to…harness votes from the country's growing Muslim population by creating the Islamic Free Market Institute in 1998. He did so with significant financial help from Abdurahman Alamoudi, then one of America's most influential Muslim activists and head of the American Muslim Council.

Today, Alamoudi is serving a 23-year prison sentence after admitting to illegal transactions with Libya and being part of a plot to assassinate the then-Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia. Alamoudi was also found to be a long time secret financial courier for Al Qaeda while at the same time being routinely invited to the Clinton White House for receptions and meetings. (IPT)

But.

The ten thousand great Americans who will be attending CPAC are not sharia compliant. The patriots attending CPAC are not Islamists and are not willing to hand America over to sharia (Islamic) law. We need to reach them. We need to educate them. They know they are being deceived. They look around their towns and cities and see the unremitting capitulation to Islamic supremacism.

Arm them with knowledge, I say, and what better way then to bring the leading authorities across the world to speak honestly and forthrightly directly to the American people? This must be done if we are to have any shot at saving America.

When I brought Geert Wilders to CPAC, I fought fiercely for months trying to get Wilders on the official CPAC roster. They should have been clamoring to have him. He represents the fight for the idea of American freedom, free speech. After many a discussion, I was advised that David Keene would be giving the Courage Under Fire Award to Geert Wilders for his fight for free speech (the very bedrock of conservative principles, I chided and reminded Keene). Within 24 hours of the decision to give Wilders the Charlton Heston Courage under fire award, it was withdrawn. Heston would not have been pleased. Keene, head of the ACU and also of CPAC, canceled the decision to honor Wilders because of an article in Newsweek in which David Horowitz and Robert Spencer criticized CPAC for its Grover Norquist-mandated refusal to deal with the jihad or Islamic supremacism in any meaningful or effective way. Paul Jacob, President of Citizens in Charge Foundation, was instead given the Charlton Heston Courage Under Fire Award. Who?

Imagine battling with the American Conservative Union to have a very likley future Prime Minister of the Netherlands, who is being persecuted for speaking the truth, address an audience at CPAC.

Spencer wrote of it a year later here:

At the time I was interviewed by Newsweek, Pamela Geller was working tirelessly behind the scenes to secure a speaking slot for Geert Wilders at CPAC, but CPAC was dragging its feet. With that in mind, I told Newsweek that people were afraid to deal with this issue, and added at Jihad Watch that "Keene's, or someone's, priorities are seriously out of order. Wilders should be front and center at CPAC, and the defense of free speech its central theme."

I didn't know it at the time, but after I was interviewed by Newsweek and before their article appeared, Keene decided to honor Wilders at CPAC and give him an award. But when the Newsweek piece hit, with quotes from me as well as David Horowitz saying, "How is it possible that a conservative conference does not have a single panel on the threat from radical Islam?," Keene was furious. He was so furious that he canceled the award for Wilders and refused to let him speak at all, saying he wasn't going to look as if he was being pushed around by Robert Spencer. Suddenly a few remarks in Newsweek by David Horowitz and me were controlling David Keene's world. Principles? Free speech? Jihad and Islamization? Pah. For Keene, it was just a schoolyard fight, and he was behaving like a schoolyard bully.

And now we hear that Norquist is battling behind the scenes to stop the fight against the jihad in Afghanistan.

Grover and wife

Above photo:Grover Norquist and "Palestinian" wife Samah (Note his alleged beard. Is he wearing lipstick?)

CPAC can be saved from the infiltrators. There is so much we could get done with this organization. Educating the base. We must take CPAC back.

VIDEO of Afghanistan today, protesting against the interference of the mullahocracy in iran:

Brave Afghanis demonstrate against the Iranian regime; they chant: "The Iranian regime is an crocodiles", "Khamenei is sick in the head", "Death to the Mullah Regime of Iran". Also as you see, they are burning and stomping on Ahmadinejad's photo and splattering paint on the Iranian embassy signage. LONG LIVE THE BRAVE PEOPLE OF AFGHANISTAN… hat tip Banafsheh Z.

Well, doesn’t Samah look like the perfect little American wifey-poo, blond tresses and all. What sort of mental twisting and turning does it take for some little fakestinian beeyatch like this, with everything American has to offer at her feet, to remain obsessed with one thing: destroying joooooooos. Sick comes in many forms, not just bald psycho shooters out in Tucson. The Norquists are just as insane and dangerous as he is, they just let someone else handle the guns.

also the clusters of designs look like wafting smoke in a blurred view

Yes, let us stay in Afcrapistan for another 10 years with American troop deaths going up and no progress and no end in sight. And then another 10 and another 10 and ….. It used to be said that insanity is doing the same thing over expecting different results, but I guess that rule must have been outlawed or something. And while we bleed our military and treasure the Chinese build theirs and soft Shariah gains even more in Europe and America. There are almost no al Queada even in Afcrapistan anymore so now we have a new enemy there, the Taliban. The country has Islamic Law enshrined in it’s U.S. sponsored constitution and almost the entire country is Islamic throwbacks to the 7th century, beyond salvation and redemption. Just what American values do Muslims and Islamic Law represent again? Staying in Afcrapistan trying to stand up another Islamic state is utter madness. The almost Code Pink ROE and cow toeing to Muslims there like dhimmis isn’t exactly very brilliant either.

“Apparently, Grover wants to pull out of Afghanistan as a money-saving measure — a line of argument, which if followed to its natural conclusion, should also have led us to pull out of World War II while Hitler or Tojo were still in power”
So now Afgcrapistan is an expansionist high tech major power like Germany and Japan were? What kind of natural conclusion is that outside of the deepest center of a mad house? Pamela, you need to sit down and have a little heart to heart talk with Diana West.

People with any common sense at all do not push for never ending Islamic Nation Building as Islam is our enemy NOT our friend. Neocons are dangerous to America. If not for their influence pushing Bush into his unpopular on-and-on Islamic Nation Building he might have with quick kicking arse victories had enough political capital to do something about Iran. Now with Hussein Louie in charge it is probably too late. Neocons are dangerous to America. It was the blasted neocon types that got us into Vietnam and are helped so much to get us into, and keep us into, Afghanistan and Iraq.and they just don’t seem to know when to quit. If still somehow alive I believe Churchill, Eisenhower, Patton and Goldwater, just to name a few, would all denounce them and their Islamic Nation Building utter madness in no uncertain terms.

Petraeus’s Israel Problem
Max Boot is a good historian. On Islam, I often disagree with him, finding in his work the wishful thinking common among Islamic Democracy Project enthusiasts. Still, he is thoughtful and civil, so one always expects to learn something from reading him. It was therefore jarring to read his smug attempt to drum Diana West out of the conservative movement. Boot seems to see himself as William F. Buckley Jr. and West as the John Birch Society. If you’re going to play that game, you’d better be right. Boot is dead wrong.
Boot’s attack on West is an effort to defend a surpassingly foolish statement in which Gen. David Petraeus cast Israel as the source of all America’s woes in the Middle East. To his great discredit, the general — in a Clintonesque fashion which, as we shall see, is probably not a coincidence — simultaneously denied making the statement, grudgingly admitted making it while minimizing its significance, and accused West and others of misrepresenting his views. In fact, the general’s critics quoted his words at length, placed them in unmistakable context, and drew from them the same commonsense conclusion drawn by Israel’s gleeful critics — for whom Petraeus is the hero of the moment.

Andrew C. McCarthy: “As head of Central Command, General Petraeus’s area of responsibility includes Iraq, Afghanistan, and the Middle East. That is, CENTCOM is the U.S. military’s bridge to the Muslim umma, much of which despises America. The vast majority of Americans couldn’t care less about that. It is Islam’s problem, not ours — we’re not dying to be loved by a dysfunctional civilization that produces most of the planet’s terrorists. But for the Wilsonians who deem it worth our time, money, and lives to try to remake the Islamic world, Muslim animus is something that must be addressed — otherwise, they’d have to concede that there is nothing we can do about it, that Muslims resent more than appreciate our help, and that their grand project is thus a fool’s errand.
We need, they tell us, to exhibit a little sympathy. We need to be more understanding of the totalitarian, iniquitous, misogynistic, homophobic, virulently anti-Western and anti-Semitic culture that dominates Muslim countries. We need to project the image of an “honest broker” in the impasse between our stalwart ally Israel and an Islamic world bent on Israel’s elimination as a Jewish state. We need to “live our values,” a favorite slogan of both top Obama officials and General Petraeus. These always turn out to be transnational-progressive values. Under them, our justice is blind: We must make no distinction between (a) a Western-style democracy that permits Muslims to live in dignity as citizens within its borders and (b) incorrigibles who make no secret of desiring that democracy’s annihilation and who consider mass murder to be legitimate resistance.
General Petraeus is a uniquely gifted warrior and intellect. He is also a major enthusiast of the Islamic Democracy Project. As Mark Bowden’s revealing profile in Vanity Fair recounts, the general’s embrace of nation-building put him at odds with the Bush administration, which initially was resistant to the concept of a long-term civil-society project in Iraq. And that’s what Petraeus’s counter-insurgency theory is: a civil-society strategy for an America that no longer believes we have to defeat our enemies first, that pretends most of our enemies are actually our friends, and that thinks we not only owe the world another Marshall Plan but one that starts in 1944 instead of 1947. Bowden notes that Petraeus “called for more reconstruction projects, more cultural sensitivity, and more partnership with the State Department and other civilian agencies.” In his approach, Islam is not a daunting challenge to us but a valuable asset. The State Department with which he anxiously partners is the institution of government foremost dedicated to the view that we must be absolute neutrals in the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians. No material distinction is to be drawn between one side’s construction of housing and the other’s suicide bombings.”

Do the knuckle heads that advocate for pulling out understand that Afganistan is just one battle in a world wide war…if we pull out of there then Turky will fall to the crazys at a faster rate.
Think what the unintended consiquences would be if we didn’t fight them there…we need to put more troops in the big rock pile and actualy take the fight to them not sit in bases and wait for them to come to us.

Another thing about Grover — seems he’s on the board of directors for GOProud. Talk about subversion, unless he just likes hanging out with gays and/or wants to start a Gay Muslim Brotherhood group. Hope you can get someone from GOProud to your event at CPAC.

This comment is childish, petty and uncalled for but I wonder if Norquiest’s middle name is Arnold.
Norquist’s suggestion which implies our security is second to money and the sacrifice of our military to maintain that security is also childish and so on. He obviously has a low opinion of the value of our military, the ones confronting our enemy, and would place it below all else and so worthy of the first cuts.
I hope I spelled his name right. Sorry that was petty of me stupid and ignorant.
