Hillary Clinton lost security clearance
Hillary Clinton has given up her security clearance in the wake of the scandal over her handling of secret information on her email server, the Senate Judiciary committee revealed Friday.

Chairman Charles E. Grassley also revealed top Clinton aide Cheryl Mills and four others no longer have clearance.
Mrs. Clinton’s clearance expired at the end of August. The others lost their access privileges in September.Story continues below advertisementThe state department, in a letter to Mr. Grassley, had said Mrs. Clinton and her aids retained clearance in order to conduct research after she left office.
The names of the four additional aids besides Ms. Mills were redacted from the state department letter that the committee released.

I read 30 people also lost their security clearances. Hopefully OBAMA Is in that count too!

Poor witch, what can she peddle for influence now?
Prior to this, I though people automatically LOST that privilege when they left office for an opposing party too over.
Clinton and Obama revoked this stuff so how did this suddenly become a tradition for people to keep this for a lifetime? Stretching it, I can understand allowing for the transition but questions to them without confidential information disclosed should have sufficed so again, I see no reason for people who have left their positions to have this information. When they leave office they peddle their knowledge to get on boards of large corporations and help steer their decisions. I see nothing good about allowing this information flow to continue to them for life.
I’d expect these ten as a minimum to lose their security clearance:

Obama lose his clearance? Probably not. He needs it, you know. To do “research” and all. And those who are in high gov offices, usually keep their clearances long after they leave office. Why? Because of who and what they know. Is it right? No but, that’s one of those things us average folks can probably never change.

Bill Clinton should also loose his security clearance as it is well known that Hillary would brow beat him into giving her information she wanted. Also Holder, Obama, and Valerie Jarrett, among other Obama administration people, should loose theirs as they are part of the resistance to overthrow the President.

Some in the White House are advising Trump to leave her alone. They are telling him he will upset the midterms if he pursues prosecuting the grand bitch of the U.S.! I say WRONG! If he insist she be charged and prosecuted, he will clinch the midterms for the Republicans. But those “Gutless Wonders,” called Republican Strategist are as useless as tits on a Bore Hogs! I need to “conduct research” too but, the f’n State Dept. won’t give me a TS clearance. Gee, I wonder what kind of research she needed to do for all those years after she left office. Whatever it was, I’m sure it was VERY important and was designed to further improve the lives of all Americans.

I find it incomprehensible that someone who compromised classified information the Hillary did managed to retain her clearance. I am confident that if Joe Blow government contractor had done what she did, that the clearance would have been revoked long ago. But, of course, special rules apply to people like Billary.

Well I don’t know that that is true … or that it is false. Normally, I believe criminal charges require criminal intent, but that is specifically not the case with respect to mis-handling classified information. However, in the vast majority of cases, the government does not prosecute for “screw-ups” or instances of negligence. “Gross negligence”- I dunno.

The mishandling of ANY classified information, is punishable. A person cannot claim they ‘did not know’ or some other lame excuse. And you may not hear about “prosecutions” but, all instances of mishandling classified info is dealt with, in one way, or another. Whether it is removal of security clearance (which you wouldn’t hear about), or some other administrative action, which is usually kept from the public for obvious reasons. And yes, they DO prosecute for gross negligence, because it is NOT a defense in the classified world of information.

Just spoliating evidence … If I was caught spoliating evidence, being disbarred would be the least of my worries. Here I’d be pulling a nickel at the state pen at least, if it were in a state court. I have no idea of what would happen in a federal court, but I am sure it would not be pretty. And no mind reading is required to convict.

When in the US Navy, I held a Top Secret clearance but my access to sensitive data ended when I rotated out of that outfit. In that time and for all time afterward, I never violated the terms of it.
Had I done so much as one-tenth the indiscretions of Hillary’s, a summary court martial would have been my fate.

I’m confused. The article stated that she ‘gave it up’ not that it was taken-which, of course, it should have been long ago. Besides, she (along with others who surrendered their security clearance) can still obtain all the information they need to know. The Left, and particularly deep state operatives, will make certain of that.
Yet she, still, has not been held accountable for a legion of crimes committed against this Republic. And, likely, never will be (at least in this life).
