The Islamic State has provided further information (in English) to substantiate its claim that Steven Paddock was a Muslim convert who waged war in the cause of Allah in Las Vegas Sunday evening, claiming that Paddock did a reconnaissance of the site of his mass shooting.
It is unwise for the authorities and the leftwing media to dismiss the Islamic State’s claims out of hand. Primarily because underestimating the Islamic State has been one of the West’s biggest mistakes, and secondly because we know nothing about this unfathomable act of evil.
The FBI said it had found no such connection so far, with the local sheriff describing him as a lone “psychopath.” How could they possibly know that so much early in the investigation? It speaks to a gross incompetence and already predetermined outcome.

Islamic State has claimed responsibility for a shooting that killed at least 50 people and wounded over 400 in Las Vegas early on Monday, and said the attacker had converted to Islam a few months ago.
“The Las Vegas attack was carried out by a soldier of the Islamic State and he carried it out in response to calls to target states of the coalition,” the group’s news agency Amaq said in reference to the U.S.-led coalition fighting the group in the Middle East.

MSN News reports Hendricks left the venue with her mother before gunman Stephen Paddock, opened fire. Looking back, Hendricks said she wondered about the woman’s intentions of the supposed warning. She described the woman and her assumed boyfriend as Hispanic.
“Obviously she was telling us that — either to warn us, or to warn us that we were all going to die and she was part of it,” Hendricks said. “Because she had been messing with the lady in front of her and telling her that she was going to die. That we were all going to die. None of us knew that it was going to be serious.”

There were 23 firearms including automatic weapons inside the Mandalay hotel where Steve Paddock holed up for four days. Investigators also found another 19 firearms, along with explosives and several thousand rounds of ammo at Paddock’s house in Mesquite, Nevada, some 80 miles (130 kilometers) away. Automatic weapons are banned.
Full auto weapons, however, are widely owned by police officers, federal officials and military organizations. It will be very interesting to find out where this weapon came from and how it was acquired….. (here)
Did he modify them? He had no military experience. Where did he learn how to do that? Who trained him? Who did he associate with?

She reminds of the Boston bomber’s wife, Katherine Tsarnaev, who was never charged with anything, despite the fact that Tamerlan Tsarnaev was building bombs on her kitchen table.
Hotel housekeepers say they noticed nothing that would have alerted them to his plans, but Joseph Lombardo, sheriff of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, said he had used more than 10 bags to carry his weapons up to the 32nd floor.
Twenty three firearms including automatic weapons for just one shooter? In the 72 minutes of slaughter did anyone else enter or leave that room? Why so many guns for one man?

–What was on his phone? Did he have Telegram on his phone. There are hundreds of ISIS channels on Telegram and its a popular way for jihadis to communicate. If Paddock had it on his phone that would confirm a connection.
There are 100s of ISIS-linked Telegram channels. Anyone imbibing their ideology typically has dozens of them on their phone.

Much to be suspect about here. A ‘pre-determined outcome,’ for sure.
Maybe ISIS is behind it; good chance.
On the other hand, there have been some ‘significant events’ that have had a lot of things suspect, at the least, after closer review of everything after the fact. Whether we can get that closer review, remains to be seen. There are people who dedicate much time to examining everything — and I mean everything — and share their findings.
I’m waiting a bit before I conclude anything about this. Anytime ‘authorities’ claim all kinds of details and information within hours of such an event, we should be very suspect of what we’re being told.

You’re right. It’s never Muslims — or, it’s ‘radical Islam’ — meaning it’s Islam, it’s Muslims … they are the protected group, the invasion force into free countries. There have been too many false flags. Too many quick statements from the FBI. This one is a HUGE grab for guns — maybe the last one before things get really testy. Even Trump was saying ‘we need to talk about guns.’ I love a lot about Trump. But when push comes to shove on stuff — DACA, as one example — he shows some very globalist colors. I don’t buy that he’s being pressured. Trump is highly intelligent. What he does on this with the guns, will show us a bit more.
I figure virtually ALL politicians at that level are globalists, pawns, controlled by much more powerful forces. What appear to be two parties, is just one.
Call me a pessimist … lol … I’ve seen too much to have any faith in any politician. I hoped for something different in Trump. But it was always a very ‘eyes wide open’ hope, too ….
Whatever we are being told here by the FBI / MSM? We can bet every dollar we have that it’s lies. Except that they’re going to come after our guns.
Our guns are the only thing stopping the Muslim invasions that are destroying Europe. The Muslims are here, but laying relatively (not entirely by any means) low. Nothing too overt. Too many Americans with guns, and we’ll use them. I don’t like where it’s all going.

Michael, I am leaning toward a deep state attack on the second amendment. They tried Fast and Furious followed by Sandy Hook etc. and it did not work out for them.
They really want to get our semi automatic rifles away from us. they know what would happen to them today if they applied their tyranny on us as they are doing in Europe.

Sandy Hook. The Boston Marathon, the gay club shooting in Orlando … and so on. We should instantly believe NOTHING when these things happen. And wait to see. Clearly huge attempts to go after guns. The guns are about the only thing we have left, and this presumed massacre perpetrated by ‘evil’ — shades of 9-11 — has created the predictable firestorm around this.

I will, Devilbat. Thank you. Editorial today in the very liberal Seattle Times. The writer making an impassioned plea for gun control — referencing Sandy Hook, of course. I’m going to email it to him, as well. I will for a 99% certainty be written off as ‘nut case gun lover and conspiracy theorist’ … and one never knows where a crack of light gets in. God bless you, too, Devilbat … whatever happens, it’s been a grand ride in this country. Let’s hope it continues for a long while, but we have some powerful forces against us. What has been released so far, has seemed to only cloud what really happened. The pictures of guns found in his hotel room, don’t seem to match the type of high powered weapon that was heard on multiple videos. If it was really really a 72 minute horror show, why did it take police THAT long to get to his room. And if security personnel were met with gunfire when they got to his room, why didn’t they return fire. Isn’t that what they are paid for? One has to wonder how many people might have been saved if the security were a bit more forceful in getting to him.

I listened to police scanner video recording..there were diversionary tactics applied where people called in n reported shots fired at several casinos. Wether there were shots fired in those locations or not (i.e. Multiple shooters firing and then running. One instance the ambulance at another casino was fired upon). This involved more than one shooter in sure. Videos have emerged and shots appear to be coming from a 4th storey window in original hotel and in the police scanner recording, the police office reports that a bomb was noted on 4th floor. I can see why the MSM and govt wouldn’t want citizens to know that this was an organized attack from antifa- we will all be preparing for this antif/liberal civil war that planned (instead of going about our lives making/spending money for the economy

Like all terrorists, we are referring to a psychopathic person. I do not believe any of us would argue with that conclusion. Whether the terrorist believed that he was required to commit the heinous acts as justified by some philosophy instituted by a so-called “religious belief” or for any other reason, to normal and right thinking people his conduct was that of a psychopath, and that conclusion is obvious. Those facts reinforce in my mind the absolute need to monitor all those who might promote and preach the propriety of such psychotic conduct. Nothing should be held back to do that job. Sure there are many who follow the Islamic belief system that are not violent, but the fact is that psychotic’s often come from those who adopt the radical views preached by the Islamic belief system. When one is radicalized and believes that his so-called God is directing him, he becomes willing to sacrifice his life, and his psychosis runs amok and causes that person to justify his conduct with the wrongful expectation that he will soon see his “God.” We need to begin explaining to the world that the hereafter (heaven) is not awaiting these psychotic people, and I firmly believe that somehow we need to begin opening that dialogue for all to hear. A concerted effort in that regard is required , because remaining silent will only encourage more of this psychosis, whether or not it is related to the poisonous beliefs espoused by Islam..

It is far too early to eliminate who all was involved in this slaughter. It does look like a very complete investigation will take awhile. Nothing seems to add up, too many fatalities in too short a time for one shooter. A few autopsies are going to have to determine the angle the bullet entered the victim which will indicate the angle it was fired from, pointing to the position of the gun. Then there is calibre, was everyone hit by a similar bullet?

Maybe because his girlfriend is from the PHILIPPINES, not Indonesia, and she was in Manila before the shooting.
And police have NOT “cleared” her. “We are continuing the investigation into that female,” said Sheriff Joseph Lombardo, chief of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. “There are several questions that need to be answered… but she is currently out of the country. We are making arrangements to contact her upon her return.”
So who are you gonna believe? Certainly not fake news peddler Pamela Geller.

His girlfriend (Filipina, probably Catholic) left the country because she likes to travel, maybe to visit her family in the Philippines.
And her boyfriend may have planned the rampage for when his girlfriend is out of the country, so she wouldn’t foil his plans.

Possible, but not buying she didn’t know anything. She knew he had weapons and she knows what he thinks and talks about. He may have planned to do it while she was out of country, or she planned to not be around when he committed the acts. Plus I believe she is Indonesian not Filipino. And by the way Islam is pretty rampant in Philippines and Indonesia, so you have no way of knowing her religious affiliation, reality check. Clearly we know nothing except people died and were injured by gun fire raining down from above. Everything else is speculation since he is dead, they seem to have no interest in the girlfriend and the govt and msm lie incessantly.

Considering that it’s Vegas, alot will be covered up. Some friends of mine that lived there said the local news never even reported anything of a negative nature because of the massive amounts of money needed from vacation people to keep the town going. Negative news – people quit coming. Incidents like this could bankrupt alot of those casinos and bring the whole city down.
