“Moderate” Qatar: Friday Sermon: Allah, Kill the Jews, Freeze the Blood in Their Veins

United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon is flying around the world on a Qatari-chartered plane, Newsweek reported Monday.

Accepting the flight from Qatar, which sponsors the terrorist organization Hamas, puts Ban in a compromised position. Newsweek notes that when he condemned the Israeli efforts to defend itself from Hamas rockets on Sunday, it marked “the first time in two weeks that Ban did not mention rocket or other attacks against Israelis.”

Is it any wonder that the UN is issuing threats against Israel and passing resolutions against Jews defending themselves?

Ban Ki-Moon could have been a contender; he could have been somebody. Instead he’s a bum.

Was Ban at this devout imam’s Friday sermon? Isn’t it interesting how all these imams all understand Islam in the exact same way? But the political and cultural elites insist that it all has absolutely, positively, nothing to do with Islam.

Islamophobia, that’s the real problem, folks.

Ban’s choice of Qatar as the first Middle East capital on his trip has raised eyebrows in the region. Egypt, in particular, has bitterly criticized what Cairo’s foreign minister, Sameh Shukri, has called Qatar’s “conspiring” — along with Hamas and its other regional ally, Turkey — against Egyptian attempts to broker a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas.

The US has made clear in recent days it sees Egypt as the only viable mediator, and toward that end Secretary of State John Kerry landed in Cairo Monday. Dujarric said that Ban, too, supports Egypt’s attempts to arrange the negotiations. “Obviously, I think the focus here is on supporting Egypt’s leadership in mediating a durable ceasefire,” he said. “No one is questioning Egypt’s leadership in this effort.”

Ban’s acceptance of the flight is one more in a series of scandals that calls into question the UN’s neutrality in the conflict between Israel and the Gaza-based terror organization. Last week it was reported that the United Nations Relief Works Agency (UNRWA) handed over twenty missiles it found near one of its schools back to Hamas. UNRWA spokesman Chris Gunness has a record of anti-Israel activism that prompted Israel’s ambassador to the UN, Ron Prosor, to demand his suspension.

Following are excerpts from a Friday sermon in Qatar delivered by Sheik Tareq Al-Hawwas, which aired on Qatar TV on July 18, 2014. (MEMRI)

Sheik Tareq: We must support our brothers (in Gaza) and pray for them, so Allah helps them. How can we not, when we witness the blessed fruits of their confrontation with the enemy? True, they are not equal in strength and their equipment is not on par with them, but Allah bestows blessings upon the weapons that our brothers have managed to produce by themselves, in order to vanquish the enemy. For the first time in the history of the abhorred country, the state of Israel, sirens are heard around the clock and over three million people flee to their hideouts. Schools, governmental departments, and airports came to a halt. When have we ever heard of such things? This is the beginning of good things to come. After today, there is no turning back. It is the duty of our nation to continue to support our brothers. Oh, Allah increase the pressure You exert upon the plundering Jews. Demonstrate upon them the miracles of Your might, for they are no match to You. Count them one by one, and kill them to the very last one. Do not spare a single one of them. Oh Allah, disperse them. Oh Lord, freeze the blood in their veins. Oh Allah, tear them asunder. Oh Allah, sow discord in their hearts. Oh Allah, do not let them prevail. Make an example of them for their allies. Oh Allah, bring down the planes of their air force, burn their infantry and sink the ships of their navy.

And this holy man is not speaking in some cave. He is in a very elaborate, well appointed mosque.
