Obama at the White House Iftar dinner:
As I’ve noted before, Thomas Jefferson once held a sunset dinner here with an envoy from Tunisia — perhaps the first Iftar at the White House, more than 200 years ago. And some of you, as you arrived tonight, may have seen our special display, courtesy of our friends at the Library of Congress — the Koran that belonged to Thomas Jefferson. And that's a reminder, along with the generations of patriotic Muslims in America, that Islam — like so many faiths — is part of our national story.
Lest we forget, the first and second foreign wars that American engaged in were Muslim wars. So when Islamic supremacists and their stooge in the White House tell you that Muslims have always been a part of the American experience, they are not entirely wrong. 197 years ago in American history: War declared against Algiers, year 1815. Commodore Stephen Decatur was sent in command of a squadron of ten warships to attack the Algerian naval force in the Mediterranean.

Interestingly (though hardly surprising), it was relentless attacks by Muslim countries on US ships that were the catalyst to establish the US Navy. That is how Islam is "part of our national story":
In the Mediterranean, the corsairs of the Barbary states began to prey on U.S. merchant ships, no longer protected by the Royal Navy. Ships and cargoes were captured, and U.S. seamen were ransomed or sold into slavery. Although the number of ships and seamen actually lost were few, the psychological effect on Americans was marked. Among the possible responses that the United States debated were paying the Barbary states [jizya] to spare U.S. commerce from attacks and building a small navy to protect trade.
The debate over naval policy was both economic and philosophical. Many Americans, among them Thomas Jefferson, later minister to the French court from 1785 to 1789, favored a naval response. Jefferson wrote in the fall of 1784: "We ought to begin a naval power, if we mean to carry on our commerce. Can we begin it on a more honorable occasion, or with a weaker foe?" (more here.)
The US Navy fought America's first foreign war ….. against the jihad in North Africa (the first and second Barbary wars).
Depredations against U.S. shipping by Barbary Coast pirates in the Mediterranean Sea spurred Congress to employ this power by passing the Naval Act of 1794 ordering the construction and manning of six frigates.[6] These ships were used to end most pirate activity off the Barbary Coast. In the 20th century American blue-water navy capability was demonstrated by the 1907–1909 world tour of the Great White Fleet.

Jihad in America goes back to our origins. That wasn't Jefferson's prayer book, Jefferson had a copy of the Quran so that he might understand the enemy. Jefferson, in defense of America, was studying the enemy's war plan, their "Art of War." "America's First War on Terror" (Front Page Magazine):
Thomas Jefferson and John Adams, then serving as American ambassadors to France and Britain, respectively, met in 1786 in London with the Tripolitan Ambassador to Britain, Sidi Haji Abdul Rahman Adja. These future American presidents were attempting to negotiate a peace treaty which would spare the United States the ravages of jihad piracy—murder, enslavement (with ransoming for redemption), and expropriation of valuable commercial assets—emanating from the Barbary states (modern Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, and Libya, known collectively in Arabic as the Maghrib). During their discussions, they questioned Ambassador Adja as to the source of the unprovoked animus directed at the nascent United States republic. Jefferson and Adams, in their subsequent report to the Continental Congress, recorded the Tripolitan Ambassador’s justification:
… that it was founded on the Laws of their Prophet, that it was written in their Koran, that all nations who should not have acknowledged their authority were sinners, that it was their right and duty to make war upon them wherever they could be found, and to make slaves of all they could take as Prisoners, and that every Musselman who should be slain in Battle was sure to go to Paradise.
Thus as Joshua London’s Victory in Tripoli elaborates in lucid prose, an aggressive jihad was already being waged against the United States almost 200 years prior to America becoming a dominant international power in the Middle East. Moreover, these jihad depredations targeting America antedated the earliest vestiges of the Zionist movement by a century, and the formal creation of Israel by 162 years—exploding the ahistorical canard that American support for the modern Jewish state is a prerequisite for jihadist attacks on the United States.
It is simply untrue to claim that Thomas Jefferson held the first Iftar dinner in the White House. It is true that in 1805 President Jefferson hosted a late night dinner with a visiting Muslim official from Tunis, a dinner that came at the end of Ramadan. But there is simply no historical evidence that Jefferson imagined himself holding any Iftar dinner or that the visiting Muslim official even told Jefferson what an Iftar dinner was. It is spin of the highest order to claim that Jefferson “held” an Iftar dinner when there is no proof that he intended to do so.
McDonough and Obama both show that they are dangerously uneducated in the dangers of radical Islam. This speech certainly proves that Obama and his minions simply don’t get it. They don’t get it at all.
They get it. All too well. As noted previously, Jefferson had first hand experience with Islamic jihad, via “From the mouth of our cannon”: brief history of Bainbridge & Muslim piracy:
Like today, the leaders of America in the late 1700’s tried to settle the piracy issue through diplomacy. As such, two American diplomats, Thomas Jefferson, then the American ambassador to France, and John Adams, the American ambassador to Britain, were dispatched to London in 1786 in an attempt to resolve the piracy issue. They met with Sidi Haji Abdul Rahman Adja, the “Dey of Algiers” ambassador to Britain. It was during that meeting in London when Jefferson asked the Muslim ambassador why Muslims held so much hostility towards America, a nation they had virtually no contact with at that time.
The answer is as relevant today as it was in 1786 – perhaps even more so. Ambassador Sidi Haji Abdul Rahman Adja stated:

Obama kicks off his dhimmi-dinner with "the right to worship." It bears noting that there is no such freedom under Islamic law (sharia). No such freedom for non-Muslims living in Muslim lands. And Obama, in one of the great crimes of humanity, has left them to perish in Egypt, Libya, Indonesia, et al. Islam is more than a religion — it is a complete system: legal, cultural, political, dietary. The freedom of religion does not protect the political and legal components of Islam.
Of all the freedoms we cherish as Americans, of all the rights that we hold sacred, foremost among them is freedom of religion, the right to worship as we choose. It’s enshrined in the First Amendment of our Constitution — the law of the land, always and forever.
Yes, and we will make sure of that, Obama, long after your residence at the White House is a but a bad memory in the annals of American history.

My dear Americans, to ignore history is to repeat it. Unfortunately most of your politicians are ignorant of history. Please make them pay by not voting for them. Only elect politicians that are aware of the the Barbary wars & understand the supremacist aggressive & oppressive ideology which is islam. This proves that it hasn’t changed in 300 years & more likely since it was invented 1400 years ago. Good luck on getting Romney/Ryan elected.

As an Englishman, i’m almost used to Hollywood re writing history, but surly not here. In claiming the “US navy fought the first forign war against the jihad” someone has overlooked the fact that most of Christian Europe had fought Islam and jihad for 1000 years before America took it’s turn. Indeed our Lord Exmouth led an Anglo Dutch fleet in demanding the release of Christian prisoners before bombarding Algiers, setting it alight, and releasing 3000 Christian slaves. During the later 19th cent, the Royal Navy fought the slave trade carried on by muslims in the Red Sea and wherever else they found them too. France Spain the Papel States and the Knights Hospitalers of Malta fought constantly, and The Venetian Empire fought the Turks and Barbary Corsairs for 400 years, the siege of Heraklion in Crete lasted 24 years and bled Venice white. So thanks for holding OUR coats guys, your turn now.

About this “Jefferson Quran” just because someone happens to own a book doesn’t mean the he believes in it’s words. In Fact,some of the words of Thomas Jefferson might wery well apply to the subject of Islam with the total mind control it has over many people. For Mr. Jefferson wrote “I hav sworn upon the alter of God eternal hostility against every form of tyranny over the mind of man.”

Obama knows what he is doing, and it is traitorous. Our judges are here, not because of anything else than we have shamed the God of our origins, the very One our Republic was blessed by in its infancy and acknowledged in our Declaration of Independence. This is the very document which is the bedrock and indeed the foundational document of our Constitution. You may not take the Name of God in vain and thought guiltless, indeed, He has informed us it shall be punished. This is a Judeo-Christian nation, shorn of its roots and for this we may only anticipate ever increasing distress and bondage, not freedom.

Sure “Jews” and “Christians” have their self caused problems too …… by many of them not holding the Sabbath, by many of them considering lies in the early scripts as “truth form the Eternity God” and “latelty” (for about 1950 years) many of them consider the Matthewgospel as center part of the Scripts, whereas this booklet in the Bible is indeed and really close to the mode of “thinking” of the Quoran.

British Navy for about half a century tried with about a constant 15 percent of its fleet to stop the transatlantic slavery ….. and in the US is now a president who is- as a Muslim – in favour of the present Islamic Muslim slavery in Saudi Arabia and elsewhere where Islam makes the rules of inhumanity, of beasthood and demons.

Jefferson had the Qur’an printed and given out FOR the main purpose of knowing our enemies…on the first page before the start of the book was a warning that Islam was evil and blasphemy…All statesmen at the founding of our Country were well versed in the Bible,THE NEW AND OLD TESTAMENTS…Islam and the Muslims were not part of our country and founding. What “generations of patriotic Muslim Americans?” Major Muslim Nidal Hassan who murdered 13 American soldiers in the name of Islam? Sergeant Hasan Akbar who tossed a grenade into a tent in Kuwait, killing two officers and wounding fourteen others? A Muslim chaplain James Yee who was charged with sedition, aiding the enemy, spying and espionage ? Sergeant Abdullah Webster who refused to serve in Iraq because he didn’t want to kill Muslims? He would kill Christians but not coreligionist. The list goes on and on.
Today , the number of American-Muslims who would prefer Sharia Law to the US Constitution is significantly larger than the number of German and Italian-Americans who preferred fascism to democracy in WWII. At all times, the number of Muslims serving in the US Army was and still is much less than the number of Muslims serving in the Waffen SS during World War Two. “Patriotic Muslim Americans”. My ass.

Pamella, Pamella, Pamella. Will you please PLEASE put a print function on these articles. Without ads. Without including the comment section. Believe it or not other sites do this. Also I have to wi-fi and I don’t know what it is about this sight but when I go to your main page it takes FOREVER to load up. I’m not trying to be an ass. It’s just that I have some issues, (I’m back to the printiing function)so I usually print out the articles I want to read the night before and read them the next morning with my paper. You’d be surprised what a major pain it is to print from some websites even when they DO have a print function. Again, hate to be a whiner. LOVE your articles.
I’m wondering if it might be an “economic” issue. If so I don’t know why one of the members of this “family” doesn’t volunteer to straighten it out.
I walked into a barber shop the other day and noticed her ceiling tiles were out of whack. I simply asked if she had a ladder, went up, straitened them out and that was that. About a year ago I did the same for the Radio Shack a few doors down. Until an injury I did construction, etc. etc. Anyway, that’s what you do.
My truck broke down about a month ago. I was checking out this self defense place because that’s what I’d like to do to get in shape and help my back. Anyway that same day I had decided to pick up some books I bought the day before at a thrift store at the same location. So I brought one of those carts you get from Staters. To make a long story short as I was going over to the self defense place one of the wheels took a crap because of the load. I must have looked like one of those homeless people. (And I’ve been homeless) I sat there for about an hour to see if their program would be for me. The point is there were about fifteen or twenty people in the place and when I left, clumsily dragging that cart, not one of them offered to give me a lift. As far as I’m concerned it was a blessing. I had my truck the next day but I realized that if I had been a member there wouldn’t have even been any talk-I would have grabbed the cart, threw it in the truck and asked, “which way?”
I live on the principle that you should “Do the Right Thing”. I’m plagued by those Boomer Cars that drive by my place. I’ve complained to the city etc. But everybody I talk to completely fails to see the point. And that is that its yet another symptom of the disease that is the decline of this country.
I’m reading Eagle in the Snow. About the last days of the Roman Empire. I like reading guys and gals like Steven Pressfield, Colleen McCullough, Pauline Gedge, Michael Curtis Ford, Edward Gibbon. Plutarch, Titus, Thucydides. I’ve even read Caesars The Battle for Gaul and Ammianus Marcellinus’s history of the Roman Empire, (probably my favorite books)
The point is when I read about this ancient history, it’s almost like looking into a weird mirror. People acted the same way then that they do now. The denial, the greed, the stupidity. The whole nine yards. Most of all it was the attitude of people who just didn’t give a shit about anybody but themselves. The same pathetic apathetic attitude most people have now. The almost suicidal way of backing up the people politically who are responsible for creating your problems in the first place. Most Americans are just so goddamned stupid!
I’m rambling. I think I’m depressed because I’ve decided to go to a city council meeting tomorrow and do some spouting off about a couple of issues. Like I used to do on a regular basis a few years ago. And I know that the room is going to be completely empty.

As they phase out text books – as I saw a thing on an entire classroom using Kindles it reminded me today, they can much more easily edit history, science, geography, you name it.
If they have their way, they could change history any time they want with just a few easy edits and updates to all the mindless subjects.

In his upcoming book, The Muslim Discovery of America, Frederick William Dame notes, “Jefferson was interested in talking to the ambassador over the piracy being conducted against American merchant ships by Tunisia, but otherwise could not have cared less about Islam. It was the Islamic fasting month of Ramadan and the temporary envoy said that he could not come to dinner during the day. Jefferson was polite and delayed the dinner a few hours to sunset. There was no special menu. President Jefferson changed the time of the dinner from the usual 3:30 pm to sunset.”
It is correct that the Tunisian envoy visited the White House, but he was not feted with an Iftar dinner celebrating Ramadan. Jefferson’s interest was not accommodating Muslims; it was putting an end to their acts of vicious piracy—arguably the first Islamic terrorist attacks on the United States.

Of course Ayatollah Islamobama the dogeater isn’t telling us that Islam teaches first degree murder of non-Muslims as a compulsory “religious” duty. The Kuran and Hadiths are full of homicidal teachings that remove any doubts of this being the fase. As such Islam has absolutely no place in the United states of America. End of story.
Let the Moslems worship in their own countries as they will never have the legal right to “worship” (an activity in Islam which includes killing non-Muslim unbelievers)in America.

So Thomas Jefferson reads the Koran to better understand his enemies way of thinking and afterward ordered the military to attack the Islamic enemy; who then defeated the Islamic enemy. Then today some far left liberal leaders lie about that time in history, again with the only truth being Thomas Jefferson read the Koran, the rest being a lie. As I said before liberals tell half truths mix with lies and present as fact. I don’t know if anyone is that stupid to believe the lies or if some have dedicated so much of their lives to the liberal agenda that they won’t change now and will believe anything.

This year’s Iftar appeasement dinner photo op showcases Obama’s vintage doublespeak, all to advance the cause of Islam whenever, wherever, however and with whomever he can.
President Thomas Jefferson knew Islam for the ideology it actually is, “total submission to the will of Allah”, every bit as well as Winston Churchill.
Note the use of the word “perhaps”, in Obama’s “perhaps the first Iftar at the White House.”

Ignorance must be your middle name John, if you think that traitorous fraud in the white house is even remotely believable.
